It's pretty hard to beat grain-fed Alberta beef. Grass-fed cannot compare.
Well, yeah, the cattle are humanely treated until they are killed for their meat. No matter what, they all end up in the same fix...

I've been eating grass fed beef from local farms now for over 2 years...don't notice any difference in taste, but I know it's A LOT healthier.
that is because all the corn is being grown for ethanol. Too expensive to feed to cows.
With the advent of agra farming the quality of beef has gone down hill. It used to be that corn fed midwestern beef was the best, but you can't get that at the local grocery anymore. I have been eating grass fed beef form the Co-op for awhile now and it is better than the grocery store meat but its not the same as farm raised corn fed cattle that I grew up on.
