Olbermann Tackles Palin's Strange Resignation And Her 'Paling' Political Future (VIDEO)

In a segment MSNBC labeled "Palin's Paling Prospects," Keith Olbermann and Richard Wolffe tackle the strange phenomenon of the Palin resignation saga, from her initial resignation press conference to the follow-up interviews she gave this morning while dressed in a fisherman's waders.

Wolffe summed up why he believes Palin's political future is in danger:

Her skill set was supposed to be public presentation, and she flubbed it enormously. All of these interviews we've just been seeing, including Andrea Mitchell's wonderful scene at the fish lake there, it was all designed as a catch up, as a recovery job, for that botched attempt just before July 4th weekend. So if she can't do the public presentation, if she can't explain herself right, if she loses her authentic voice and comes up with all these platitudes about the troops or about doing it all for Alaska, then what does she represent? And the message to Bill Kristol is it's not that people are scared of her, it's that they're shocked at how, frankly, incompetent she is at the thing she's supposed to be strong at.

That part that does somewhat amaze me is the continuing denial on the part of some conservatives, like Kristol, that people don't like her as a candidate because it's clear that she is completely unfit for any office I can think of, not because she is a scary-popular figure.

Independents do not like her any more than Democrats do. And not all conservatives like her - some conservatives still have brains, I guess - they aren't much in evidence lately; nevertheless - this idea that she is disliked because she's such a big threat is really risible.

Yep, just like she and her team of loser follower/protestors have tried to undermine citizens rights to religious freedom by telling everyone they must agree with her about abortion. According to their religous belief abortion is immoral and against "their" Gods law.... What about MY Gods law? What about the Constitutional protection of MY Gods law as being as valid as Palin's God?

Didn's we already have that debate 30 years ago in the Supreme Court, called Roe v Wade, a womans rights over her body is just that--the woman's right. No religious "institutional" mouthpiece can deny another citizens rights based upon the religious views of one person.
