I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Palin

Sarah Palin and her defenders have cited numerous ethics complaints against the Alaska governor as a practical reason for her resignation. Fighting the claims, Palin told the Anchorage Daily News Monday, was immobilizing her: "I'm not going to let Alaskans go through a year of stymied, paralyzed administration and not getting anything done."

Naturally, skeptical observers have wondered how Palin would handle being president if some ethics complaints are enough to make her unable to run a state. Palin's answer: if she was president, the Department of Law would protect her.

Palin said there is a difference between the White House and what she has experienced in Alaska. If she were in the White House the "department of law" would protect her from baseless ethical allegations.

"I think on a national level your department of law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out," she said.

There is no Department of Law at the White House. Alaska does have a Department of Law.

Not as stupid as Obama's "57 states" remark, or when he thought Austrian was a language. Whew!!

I'm surprised he graduated high school.

The 57 states remark was a slip when referring to the 57 primaries that they had just gone through. Not surprising considering the level of exhaustion Obama and Clinton were feeling at the time.

But you knew that.

After this "surprise" high school graduation he also graduated from Columbia University and Harvard Law School.

But you knew that.

Palin continues to show she has no idea. In case we missed it before.

If someone hasn't a clue, apparently doesn't even know what subject is being discussed, you'd think they'd show reasonable restraint and stop harping on--wouldn't you Roguewolf?

And the "Department of Baby-Making" makes babies and the "Department of Schools" builds schools...it's all very simple, really.

Obama says our constitution was written "20 centuries" ago!!! How many more gaffes until we officially can call him "dumbest president"? This guy does not even bother to think at least about what is he saying, he just reads whatever they put in front of him. Just Amazing!

OBAMA don't know much about history: when he said this morning (in Cairo) in his major speech that "Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition" he ignored that, by the time the Spanish Inquisition was created in 1478, Cordoba has been reconquered from Islamic hands almost 150 years earlier, in 1236.

The outing of the moores from Spain lasted until the begining of the XVI century when they were expelled from Granada.
So you are the one who should open a book before opining your mouth.

We are shocked!(not).. Our egoistic dear President doesn't' like his golf game. We feel so bad for him...Apparently, That's the only thing that he doesn't like about himself! ahhhh...

MOSCOW -- In his first interview with Russian media, President Obama was asked, "what don't you like about yourself?"

The president responded, "I have been playing golf lately, and I don't like my golf swing."

Should I be concerned that President Obama doesn't know the name of our Secretary of Defense? By the way, it's Robert Gates (not William)...

Everyone knows that Barack Obama is lost without his teleprompter, but his latest blunder, courtesy of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, via the Corner, suggests that the teleprompter may not be enough unless it includes phonetic spellings. Obama was speaking at a White House roundtable on clean energy systems, and repeatedly saluted Orion Energy Systems, whose CEO, Neal Verfuerth, was present at the event. So Obama referred to “Orion” a number of times. Only problem was, he appeared to be unfamiliar with the word:

All terrific press for Orion, except that Obama kept pronouncing the company’s name wrong, calling it
OAR-ee-on.

Unbelievable. Orion is one of the best-known constellations, mostly because it actually looks like its namesake. So evidently we have to add astronomy to history and economics as subjects of which Obama is remarkably ignorant. I’m beginning to fear that our President has below-average knowledge of the world. Not for a President, but for a middle-aged American.

interesting that our previous president had trouble saying a very popular word, one of our best known words. . .it's the word nuclear. wb persisted in saying nukular along with many other of his mispronunciates, grammatical mistakes, and uh-huh, even some made up words. would you also contend that he was remarkably below average in the smarts department?

Big Bother Barry says says in his White House, they are celebrating Cinco de Mayo (Mexico’s Fifth of May holiday) a day early—call it “Cinco De Quattro.” (Fifth of Fourth!).

Seems SP couldn't handle the "media pressure" from day one. Maybe she needs to go meditate in the woods for 40 days and 40 nights and get over herself.
"Palin would view press clippings of herself in the morning and throw "tantrums" over the negative coverage. There were times when she would be so nasty and angry that her staff was reduced to tears."

Yes, AK does have a Dep't of Law, but was not talking about the state she was refering to the federal goverment.

If the national department of law can be found 'there in the White House'
then I guess the Alaska Dept of Law lives in the Governor's Mansion ?
Must be why Miss Sarah chose to stay in Wasilla !
