this show has really grown on me over time, im always flipping to nbc on thursday looking for older episodes to DVR.
too bad comedy central wont start showing 30 rock until FALL of 2011.
Yuck. There are few as unfunny as Fey.
Her comedy is often brilliant.
Numerous middlebrows seem to think so.
Good! It sure got rave reviews and awards. It will be nice to see it from the beginning, for sure.

great show. not quite in the Arrested Development league, but great nontheless.

Will Arnett's guest appearances on 30 Rock have made the absence of Arrested Development much more bearable..
The best 30 Rock episodes are 1. The sandwich day episode, 2. When Tracy has to go on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, 3. The one where they go to the birthday party for the Austrian prince played by Paul Reubens.
30 Rock is in the stratosphere of comedy along with Arrested Development. Every season of 30 Rock has gotten better than the previous, with standouts in between. If you truly enter the absurdity of the TGS world, this show is irresistable and undeniable, much like AD.

I've tried to watch this show but I just don't find it funny. I watched several episodes from the first season and I just felt like the critics want it to be successful so they're shoving it down our throats. Tina Fey was very good as Palin but 30 Rock doesn't make it for me....sorr
I'm with you. I have tried to watch it several times and it just doesn't do it for me. I expect that we will be savaged for that opinion.
Well, nobody has jumped on you yet... everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I think 30 Rock would be a much better show if they lost one plot line per episode and a few characters. Baldwin is the best thing about it. Tina is fine, as is the guy who plays the page. Can't stand Tracy. The Office is a way better show IMHOP. Of course with comedy it's all subjective.
Excelllent! The more people that start watching this show, the better. I was bummed out by the cancellations of Pushing Daisies and Arrested Developmen
