Michael Jackson's Doctor Hedges About Childrens' Paternity, Talks Dancing And Drug Use (VIDEO)

Arnold Klein, Michael Jackson's longtime friend, dermatologist and rumored biological father to Jackson's kids, spoke out in an interview with Diane Sawyer.

When Sawyer asked him about the speculation that he fathered Jackson's kids Prince Michael, Paris and blanket, Klein looked uncomfortable and responded, ""To the best of my knowledge I am not the father of these children," Klein said. "I can't answer it in any other way. I don't want to feed any of this insanity that is going around."

Debbie Rowe worked for Klein.

Klein spoke briefly about a Christmas Eve he spent with the singer and his "brilliant" children.

"The kids were so very happy and so beautiful," he said. "Every time they would pass their father they would say 'I love you Daddy.'"

Klein also saw Jackson three days before his death, and said he was fine. "He danced in my office," he said. "He danced for my patients... I saw nothing at that time that would make me worry."

As for investigations into doctors over-prescribing Jackson powerful drugs, Klein denied it was him.

"I was not one of the doctors who participated in giving him overdoses of drugs or too much of anything," Klein said. "In fact, I was the one who limited everything, who stopped everything."

He called the prescriptions Jackson had "poisons" and said he had Jackson flush some of them down the toilet.

He also denied prescribing Jackson the anesthesia drug Diprivan, which was found in Jackson's home.

"How am I going to prescribe Diprivan when I don't know how to use it?" he said.

But sadly, "no matter what he wanted, someone would give it to him."

I'm trying to figure out what was the purpose of this Dr. Klien going on tv, not unless he wanted his 15 minutes of fame too. He is not the father of those kids, yes it's possible if he donated his sperm, but like President Obama said, any fool can make a child, it takes a man to be a father. As far as I am concern Paris Katherine Jackson answer the question at MJ Memorial Services who her father was?

NO one knows what Mj told them how he got them.. as MJ must have said something to explain the arrival of Blanket as their new baby brother. I watched the interview on Larry King in its entirety. I went through many stages from distrust, to feeling he knew his stuff, back to distrust and on to feeling his affection for MJ - then thinking the doctor was weird as hell. Quite frankly, I could not get a real bead on this guy.

Same here. What he really was knowledgeable on was MJ's vitalago and lupus diseases. And here's some pics of MJ that were released the other day during snippets of concerts and videos. I feel so disgusted because this man was ridiculed and it was quite clear he had these two diseases. The plastic surgery, he did too much and the Dr. Klein even said so, but MJ did not want to be white.

What the photos actually reveal are burns and infection from over use of chemical bleaching, not vitilago. And lupus does not produce change in skin color.

This man comes across as a bit untrustworthy to me. seems as if him and Ms rowe may have been in cahoots together. Sounds strange that he called her as soon as he heard that MJ died to tell her she needs to get the kids--he said this on Larry King last night; then says that he had donated sperm but to the best of his knowledge he is not the father. Also, how can he get on national television and give info about a patients medical history--don't they have HIPPA laws in California. The Jackson family should sue him. I bet it will come out that him and rowe were working together. He said something about he wouldn't say anything about the childrens paternity unless he had to--to Diane Sawyer. Dr. Klein had no right to go on national television and disclose Michael Jackson's PRIVATE medical matters. And he should thank his lucky stars that I am not Katherine Jackson, as I would have had my attorney drawing up the motion to file suit before he left the Larry King studio.

I watched the Larry King Interview with MJ's dermatologist last night and he was a little strange. However professionally he seemed to know what he was talking about. As an African American I understand what lupus is and vitiligo. I know at least two people with both. They are both autoimmune which means your body turns on it's self and your immune system can be compromised. There is no clear answer why these disease happen. Lupus causes a lot of pain in the body, especially the joints, it causes hair loss and skin discoloration. Enter the pain killers. On top of all that he had Vitiligo. A disease that effect the pigment in the skin. In black people, pigment makes us dark. So if your pigment is destroyed your skin turns two tone. So they evened his skin all the way out removing what pigment was left, if he wanted to look like his original brown color he would have wear heavy make up brown make up. Which would have made no sense because he cant dance on stage with all that on. I believe he all ready had a mental disorder about his looks from when he was younger, and went crazy with bad plastic surgery. Then on top of all that he had these disease that effect your looks. He could have gave up. I'm amazed! There all still many dots to connect. I loved him and I will miss him.

Unfortunately, that is not the way it works. A parent targets one child but not the others. He forced them to rehearse for long hours and thereby robbed them of their playtime. He singled Michael out for ridicule and the other boys taunted hiim as well. They actually worked in a few strip bars early on. Joe Jackson's desire to take his boys out of Gary and make them stars took a toll on all of the them, especially Michael (he was the youngest boy don't forget).

In addition, I think there is a pernicious (albeit subconscious) objection to Michael's White (looking) kids being raised in a "Black" family. It is OBVIOUS that Debbie Rowe was NOTHING more than a well-paid surrogate to Michael and these children. Yet, there is this --group-- (which includes an overpaid Dermatologist) of people (mainly of the Caucasian persuasion) who think this woman who has said OVER and OVER that she is NOT the mother of these kids, they ARE NOT her kids, they are Michael's kids, etc. The question for this --group-- is: why should this Surrogate get custody of CHILDREN, when the only "beings" she has shown any predilection towards are horses and dogs.

Expanding my premise on white (looking) children being brought up in a black family, I find it interesting that there is no big fuss about celebrities like Madonna and Angelina Jolie raising black children, but, for no apparent reason, the Last Will and Testament (i.e., the wishes) of the ONLY parent of Michael Jr., Paris and Blanket, should be disregarded in the matter of his children and given to someone who is no more than a rented-womb.

My 3 children have always told me they loved me several times a day and each time we hang up on the phone - and they've done this since they were small children, through the teen years and into adulthood. I think the kids are actually better off. Jacko adored children. Children grow up. Jacko never did. He was like a person who only likes animals because they don't like actual people. It's a developmental disorder.

What would have happened as his playmates began to want their independence and own relationships -- and rebelled, as teenagers all do? Would Jacko farm them out like he did poor ol' Bubbles? Would he distance himself and buy some more babies?

This way these kids will have the best memories of him as they verge into (hopefully) a healthy adulthood.

what the hell is the difference? and for the record, I'm not bitter. as a mom now myself, there's no way i could do that.

i'm hearing that debbie rowe had NO contact with these children from the moment she gave birth. lived at a different address, and Michael raised them with the nannies. DR was brought in to give birth and that's that. i'm sure it's been a difficult process emotionally for her either way. in my case, i wouldn't know my birth mother from the man in the moon. DR knows what her kids look like and the lives they've led. that's GOT to be difficult. remember, she carried them for nine months...that's long enough to have an emotional bond that no one else can have. I "knew" my children pretty well by the time they were born.
