Michael Jackson's Kids Playful At Post-Memorial Reception

After Tuesday's somber memorial for their father, Michael Jackson's three children seemed to be in better sprits at a reception immediately following the service.

Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II (Blanket), 7, all sat in the "VIP" area at a kid's table that included all the Jackson cousins and relatives in The Grand Ballroom at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

i posted a comment saying: im also 11, and i wanna be paris's, prince's, and blanket's friend...
but a girl sent me an email saying that their just like us, and just because their michael jacksons kids their just people... but i dont care that their fameous... i just wanna help them some how... but if god doesnt want me to... then, i dont care... thats just life.. i think theyll be in GREAT hands with Katherine Jackson, and Janet Jackson.

I hope the media will leave these children alone. This is exactly what Michael did not want. He really fouhgt hard to keep the media away from them.

Why is this even a story. Children are resilient sometimes you dont know how things affect them.

Sadly I have been to several funerals of people with young children...and this is what kids do, they play and laugh. Children are not little adults who fully understand the depth and grief of death. They will grieve in their own way over many years to come. I think this behavior is normal and healthy.

They need prayers. Send them some love.

I used to think.. "dang what if they aren't his kids", but if u look at them closely... blanket and prince resemble each other and both look like Micheal. The supposedly 'sperm donor' looks nothing like them. Also Mike has a bunch of neices and nephews from different races and they all have varying hair texture and skin tones. Until proven otherwise, those are Michael's children in every way (blood and nurture).

I don't think Janet has children of her own and the body language between her and Paris showed a lot of love and concern. I hope she takes over rearing of these children since she is younger than the grandmother and would be more suitable.

As long as these beautiful children are not in Joe Jackson's hands, I feel they'll be okay. They are so very young yet and all of this extended family, particularly the numerous cousins, will help them tremendously. It was good to hear they acted like the kids next door when interacting with other children and I am very impressed with how polite and kind they appear to be. MJ did a great job as a Father!

Grandparents rarely treat grandchildren the same as their own children. Mellowing with age usually takes effect.

No matter what it is .. MJ is still the father of the 3 lovely kids. They belongs to the Jacksons' family. How many out there are good parents themselves. It is not necessary to proof if the kids is or isn't his own blood. Its the same as, if you adopt a kid , the kid is yours and how would you feel if someone take your kids away. It hurts and you hurt them, too... Just leave those poor little kids alone. Look at your own flaws & do you know some kids do not have any resemblance of their very own parents; so why make such a big issue.
