Private Pool Club Kicks Out Minority Kids Who Might "Change The Complexion" (VIDEO)

A potentially upsetting story coming out of Philadelphia: a group of 60 young campers, many of them minorities, were told to leave a private swimming club apparently because of their race.

Some of the disheartening details:

"When the minority children got in the pool all of the Caucasian children immediately exited the pool," Horace Gibson, parent of a day camp child, wrote in an email. "The pool attendants came and told the black children that they did not allow minorities in the club and needed the children to leave immediately."

The Creative Steps Day Camp's membership was suspended by the swimming club and the money they paid to join was refunded.

It is more than just race, people like this often discriminate against their own race based on economics. there are literally hundreds of Private Clubs in this country that will not let you in, unless you make a 6 figure income, regardless of race, I believe this is a combination of race and economics.

I have been a victim of this in my area, I wanted to join a boat club but was told, "Your educational level and income history does not fall within our guidelines for membership­."

So it probably is race but income is also playing a part. In the end a bunch of good kids were insulted and made to feel like second class citizens. It is wrong either way you look at it and by the way people I am a conservative.

This is about SPECIFIC parents of SPECIFIC kids (what kids would in the middle of fun jump out of a pool, simultaneously, all in unison?).

At a SPECIFIC camp and the response/actions of a SPECIFIC staff.

And if you're the type of parent who wants to produce CULTURALLY ignorant children from a provincial isolated, insulated antiseptically pure environment (AS IF) then you haven't been paying very much attention to where the world is going.
