The Jackson family's grief may be personal, but if they were going to mourn in front of the world yesterday at Los Angeles's Staples Center, they were going to do it in style. So Michael Jackson's sister Janet Jackson contacted Donatella Versace and asked her to outfit the entire clan.

My thoughts exactly. But still, it was a nice gesture and the family looked beautiful.

Most of the people watching the memorial will never know that Donatella outfitted the family, so it won't be of much marketing value. Personally, I thought maybe she was just trying to be nice. As to the sunglasses, while I found them distracting, I wouldn't want people looking at my big, swollen, crying eyes if I had to be on tv because of a family member's death.

I commend Donatella explicable fashion. When I saw LaToya with that hat and the Jackson men wearing those great lookiing suits with the gold ties (looked yellow) I was nodding my head in approval. They all looked very tasteful, smart an elegant. Their wear was very respectable.
