Top Ten Messages On Sarah Palin's Answering Machine (VIDEO)

As our own Jason Linkins pointed out, Letterman is one of the few comedians who needn't mourn Sarah Palin's passing off stage. After their feud this year, Letterman ended up apologizing (twice) and Palin became a touchy subject on his show for the weeks after. Now that she's resigned Dave is back in full Palin-joke form.

Monday night he spent the bulk of his monologue mocking her and last night he did a Sarah Palin top ten (without calling her a slutty flight attendant). In last night's list he managed to mock John McCain, George Bush, and himself all the while lancing Palin and her decision to step down.

Remember, Sarah Palin truly believes that God wants her to be as ambitious and ruthless as she has been... you've seen that crazy footage, haven't you, where the guy prays to Jesus to protect Palin from "witchcraft of all kinds"? This guy that she says helped her become Governor?

People like Sarah Palin are insane. They truly believe, and say in public, that they think the consciousness of the universe is personally invested in their quest for wealth and power. There's no reason to respect someone who is that crazy. Just because she has a band of followers willing to demagogue anyone who says "boo" to her doesn't make her a legitimate politician. It just makes her a cult leader. L. Ron Hubbard's followers also will harass anyone who denigrates him, but that doesn't make Scientology worthy of respect.

In a way, Dave is. Shame and ridicule is a way to hold polictian's feet to the fire. Obama is doing what he can, Allowing coverage of those returning in caskets but the comedians are also using thier tools to push for a better world. You might not see it but believe me, David Letterman , Jon Steward, and Stephen Colbert are doing their best at trying to get our troops home. They're just using their talents to affect change. There is no red herring, far from it or would you like the right to attempt to tell you Palin's quitting was a brillant move?

That's what Palin gets for publicly trying to fight with a well known comedian. Dave has the audience and venue to continue his blistering attacks. Palin comes off as awkward and angry where as Dave does it with wit and humor.

i don't like David Letterman and don't watch him, so I don't know what he said to upset Madam Sarah except what I read in the news, and I don't what he's said since, except what I've read here.

Even so, he can and should go after her. She sets herself up as a paragon of virtue, with intentions to be a powerful politician, when she is unethical, uninformed, untruthful, and not willing to do the work necessary to honour the votes of the people who elected her.

Her hypocrisy must be exposed, or she and others like her get away with their power-hungry greed, and we end up with such things as corruption in government and economic collapse.

That's the silliest comment in a line of silly comments. Where was she power hungry? She just answered the call of her party and did her best in a tough situation. She didn't ask for it and she has not expressed any further political ambitions so far.

I think someone who wants to take over the private sector and put America's health care under the thumb of the government is power hungry.
