Late Night Jokes

Welcome back to the Round-Up everybody! Tuesday's is a bit shorter than usual, but you shouldn't blame me. Those lazy clowns Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are still on vacation, which is outrageous, cause I know so many of you are watching this while at work. And if you're not, well, then, lucky you!

Like Monday's Round-Up, Tuesday's features the triple threat of Letterman, Conan and Ferguson.

Letterman went back to the Palin well because, really, why not? He also took on Bernie Madoff's wife and her shady doings.

Conan paid homage to Michael Jackson's stirring memorial service, although Conan's supreme whiteness was making the speech ring hollow for one of his Late Night bandmembers.

Ferguson also discussed the legend that is MJ, but in the context of Sinatra. Oh, and Ferguson described how he partied in the 80s. Not for kids!

I'm not even trying to be mean anymore but Craig Ferguson is just not funny. I like Conan and I understand that as a 24 year old that developed my sense of humor on the Simpsons, in the mid 90s, when he was writing for them that I am basically an automatic for Conan. Also I like Letterman I get him, his aloofness works. That said who watches Craig Ferguson? Are they old people, Leno fans? Finally his monologue camera angle is brutal.

They are Letterman and Conan fans. I'm sure you don't know who Sinatra is either. Ferguson is hilarious and quick witted.

Well I'm also 24 and a Conan fan as well, but I really like Ferguson because he does an actual monologue, instead of telling a joke and holding for applause like the other guys. I think Ferguson is really funny.

However, I do agree with you about the camera angle during the monologue. It's a bit odd.

I enjoy Conan and Letterman (really, anyone but Kimmel and Leno), but Craig is by far my fav. If you get a chance to go to his stand-up show sometime, when he's not censored, do it. It's hilarious.

Like his press release says, he's The King of Late Night Television!

Seriously, Conan and Leterman tell jokes (apparently), Ferguson truly monologues!

Ferguson's monologue was hysterical last night, as per usual. I'm so glad I don't have to choose between him and Conan at 12:30 anymore. I used to watch Ferguson's monologue and switch over to Conan later. Jimmy Fallon's supreme dullness doesn't even make it a contest anymore.

I'm actually getting sick of Letterman mining the Palin controversy, it's all he's been talking about for weeks. Honestly, Conan's joke about Palin from Monday night was funnier than Dave's from last night. It was something to the effect of, "President Obama went to Russia because he heard you could see Sarah Palin packing up her desk from there."

My favorite was Dave's line about how Sarah stepped out onto her porch and waved good-bye to Russia.
Soooooooo funny!

I like Conan as person, but he's just not that funny and he burns a lot of time on his show.
