I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Jackson

Former "Saturday Night Live" star Victoria Jackson posted an incoherent rant against President Obama on Andrew Breitbart's Big Hollywood website on Tuesday.

Taking aim at everything from health care reform to rock bands, Jackson's rambling diatribe describes Obama as a kind of wolf in sheep's clothing.

"You see, evil doesn't just show up. It disguises itself as something nice; so you'll let it in. It tricks you," she writes.

Jackson, an actress, singer and comedienne, was part of the same SNL cast as Dana Carvey, Dennis Miller and Phil Hartman. She also appeared on the VH1 weight loss show "Celebrity Fit Club" in 2005.

During the 2008 presidential election, Jackson came out against then-Senator Barack Obama, calling him everything from a racist to a communist.

In a particularly irrational appearance on "The O'Reilly Factor," she told O'Reilly that Obama reminds her of "Castro In Cuba, the guy in China." (Presumably Mao.)

Jackson also joined other B-list celebrities in a National Republican Senatorial Committee ad against Al Franken.

This latest rant is a real gem:

I woke up in the middle of the night and realized the trick.

Social Security and Medicare are broke. Baby boomers, like me, are getting old and will soon be asking for it. Socialized medicine makes people die. You stand in a long, long line with a breast lump, clogged artery, or sharp pencil stuck in your eye, and someone like the DMV person, who can't speak English, has chewing gum, an attitiude [sic], really long fake nails that curl up at the end, and is talking on a cell phone, enjoying their power trip moment, is finally face to face with you. They mumble something incoherent about paperwork. You die. One less person in line for Social Security and Medicare!

Obama legally kills babies and now he can legally kill Grandmas!

Hitler did this. He killed the weak, the sick, the old, and babies and races/religions he didn't like. Hitler also controlled the media. (Where's the public debate between scientists on "Climate Change/Global Warming?") Hitler had the VW bug invented as the state car. What will O's nationalized car be? So... kill off the weak. That's the plan. Tax the workers to death. Erase the middle class. Sounds like the evil governments we studied in high school long ago. The evil governments were : kings, oligarchies, facist [sic], socialist, and communist. Now it's called the Obama Administration. Sounds like candy or a rock band.

That's pretty funny. I think President Obama seems more incompetent than calculating. The people surrounding him are another matter entirely though. They seem to be the brains behind him.

Victoria's statements are very reminiscent of the ideas I grew up around.

In Louisiana, politics, religion and hunting lose separate identity and merge into a grand life-statement that is the Southern Man. Southern Man is not curious about other cultures, religions, or forms of government. The mindset is one of fear; Fear of strangers and strangeness. Fear of all outlying possibilities and potentials.

I felt pressure to conform to a space without freedom, creativity or honest expression. It is this compressed and limiting structure that the southerner calls home, and defends at any expense.
He defends it because he believes his God, his family, and his way of life are all inside this stricture, and any force seeking to change it; expand it, or add a window, is a force of evil – threatening the perfect proportions of God’s Kingdom.

This is the stronghold of Rush Limbaugh, and the other sowers of fear and distortion, for the soil is fertile.

This mammoth dysfunction stretches back to the Civil War - collective guilt over slavery, etc. But that's a book I don’t intend to write.

My point to the reader is this:

To bring these wounded, frightened souls to the light, we are going to have to launch an invasion of friendship.

When southerners hold “tea parties”, book burnings, or otherwise impede the progress of enlightenment, don’t chastise or belittle them. Just befriend them; one-by-one. Listen to them. Love them.

Once the fear subsides, they'll respond to reason.

Well as a Noutherner you are welcome at my Tea Party, but does that mean you don't like me, just because I will have a tea party. In light of all that is going on with the take over of the economy by the government right now, we could use so more friends. So come on up.

No, it does not take courage to blather in Obama's America. In G.W. Bush's it WAS dangerous to have an opinion that varied from his........we were called terrerists.

What ever happened to the idea that Puglians insisted on, that a president at war should not be criticized. Do you remember saying that IN NO WAY should a president who has troops at war should be criticized in America? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?!?!A

Back when she used to do the dumb blonde routine on SNL, she was so good at it that I was sure it was an act. She got all aspects of the stereotype so on target that I figured she was actually fairly bright with the gift of a Betty Boop voice and made the most of it.

I was wrong. She truly is the cartoon she played. And there's something actually cruel about the way they bring her on and interview her for her "opinion". A no brainer (in more ways than one.)

Nice.. It is important to note that I hadn't sean/heard/thought of Victoria Jackson in quite a good while until this. Proving the point she is whoring for attention. Let her move to New Jesusland with the lot of the crazies trying to ruin our country in the name of Conservatism.. (I vote it is somewhere in Siberia).

In the spirit of 'keeping your friends close, and your enemies even closer' I'd be willing to give them a large swath of Texas. Or all of Kansas. It would be a shorter move for many of them, reducing their carbon footprint during the relocation process.

Isn't it cute the way these D-list pseudo-celebrities keep trying to make mental illness attractive! Unfortunately Victoria, you're no Paula Abdul.

b-list? aren't you being a bit generous to Ms. Jackson? If Kathy Griffin is d-list, Victoria Jackson is e-flat list.

The comparison to Hitler is stupid, but she has valid points about Obama pushing for socialism. The Obama government has take over GM & Chrylser, he's controlling the banks, he's pushing for socialized healthcare, he's bailing out states with strings attached that put Feds in charge of many state programs.

To top it all off, Obama has added more to the federal deficit in 150 days than all other Presdients COMBINED! ........and we still have 14.5% unemployment.

Face the facts, Obama is tearing down our country faster than you can say "YES WE CAN".
