Another beautiful obama reversal.

Reversal..........of Bush' tendancies to just "sign orders" to bypass COngress' power.

"Activists" need to get a grip on reality, these things aren't handled in months.

Obama duped y'all PERIOD. No apologists can change that because facts speak for themselves. Obama is about rhetoric, but no action. He's the "Present" Junior IL Senator with 120 days of experience that likes to give speeches.

He's not a leader, he doesn't take initiative, he's afraid of confrontation and he doesn't have a backbone.

I'm so glad we all have Lgistics to show us the light....

Sorry, but I wasn't 'duped'. I never expected Obama to be the end all/ be all... I didn't think he was a deity, I didn't worship at his altar, I never thought he was the Messiah... and I didn't drink the kool-aid. I did, however vote for him... and I guarantee that MOST would still pull that lever if asked today.

One wonders if they would still vote for him, knowing what they know now, because they still had hope in his ability to lead or because he wasnt John McCain.

I would still vote for him now, because John McCain was and still is, a dangerous man. However, I wouldnt have the thoughts in my mind that i did the first time I voted for him.

His pragmatism is no longer showing as intellectual. He is starting to come off as ineffectual, unemotional and unable to understand the promises and their meaning to the people he gave them too.

He has YET to say anything about that offensive and inflammatory legal brief filed on behalf of his DOJ. These environmental measures are not going to do squat compared to what scientists say we need. His own inability to get his party with the times is showing through on nearly every major issue.

When he allowed Lieberman to get away with what he did, I am worried he showed the world and other party members that they could backstab their constituents as long as Obama needed their vote. It wasnt about doing what was right, but doing what was politically more important. He still has the same number of democrats and he still cant them all to vote with him.

Maybe there will be enough activists each day to shut down the rotunda indefinitely!

LOL Of course he's NOT! There's not comparison! Kennedy was one of a kind, and Obama doesn't even have a backbone. There's nothing that connects the two except the D after their names.

Well, it sounds like DADT all over again. The President is cool on taking the lead on certain issues that he feels Congress should take the lead on. He can't win either way. People will be pi$$ed if he does, pi$$ed if he doesn't.

That's what makes this a great country! I really, really like Obama. But I will not apologize for what I perceive as poor choices. I don't think Obama would either, were he in our shoes.

No, it really hasn't.

Expelling decorated combat veterans and Arabic language experts during a time of war isn't what I would call "working well for the military."

The Obama drones claim that Obama has this profound respect for the Constitution and the Rule of Law which is why he is putting authority in Congress, etc. Um, so is it respecting the Constitution and the Rule of Law to preventively detain? Is it respecting the Constitution and the Rule of Law to allow war criminals to be free? These are just a few of his more egregious violations that some of you might want to notice before you defend your messiah.

This is so sad and upsetting. I understand both sides, where needle exchange might be like enabling the addicts to continue what they do, but at the same time, this disease is a preventable disease. If needle exchange prevents AIDS from one person to another, I'm for it.

Me too, wonder if it was a financial reason that he pulled back, but I assume they would have said that. Sad in many ways, because not only AIDS but Hepatitis C is being spread by sharing the needles.

I'm disappointed in this approach. The President is there to LEAD, not to BE LEAD by polls and crap, at least, not this early in his term; save that s**t for later. Congress is there as representatives, not the president. He needs to stop worrying about upsetting irrational people and do the right thing.

What else is new!! Obama fails at something new everyday, from civil rights to the economy to global warming. He was nothing but rhetoric and poetry, and half of the Dem voters fell for it out of racial guilt. LAME

The same could also be said for a number of different diseases, including various forms of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease, but that doesn't mean we abandon all prevention efforts.

And so is every other case of an infectious disease, does that mean we don't do anything for the flu, hepatitis, etc.? Or is it we just don't do anything if we don't like the people who are most infected with the disease. Go back to the 80's and worship Regan's c%%k.

This presient is passionless. He is mostly good at a presenting the problem, presenting it, buidling up hopes for a resolution, then backing off from his leadership role. He is a thinker, not a doer. Yes we can, but no we won't.
