The article says that it is a personal matter and they cannot discuss it out of respect for Mr. Goold. The article also mentioned that it was bad timing but must be dealt with. This all sounds like some problem that Mr. Goold had and it may have absolutely nothing to do with the progressive organization. I want to learn more before I come to any conclusions or make any accusations.

Maybe it's because he was entirely ineffectual in stopping the Obama Administration from announcing MASSIVE CUTS to Medicare medicaid (like $155 BILLION in hospital payments just announced yesterday)
What the h~ck are you talking about? The $155B in "cuts" is what the hospitals, thru their national professional associations, have committed to accept as cost reductions that will reallocate to expanding coverage to the currently uninsured.
The cuts are taken by the hospitals, not Medicare.
