Frankly, I'm hoping that all those who have a flighty relationship with the notion of Progressivism, get the axe. But then again, that is "assuming" that is one of the possible reasons why Bill Goold was fired.

This is a BIG slot to fill so this process may be quite interestin­g...

Good Grief. Any politician that has name recognition regardless of the Party are "owned" Corporations are the new slave owners in this country. Tax campaign contributions at 25% to the giver and the taker and things may change.
