I Like ItI Don’t Like It

Bill O'Reilly took aim at President Obamas "lack of religion" on Thursday night while discussing Obama's meeting with the Pope on Friday. He stated that Obama is a "secularist" who rejects public spirituality and citing several incidents.

He claimed that Obama ducked a recent question about when life begins and criticized the Pentagon's recent decision to discontinue Air Force flights over the "God and Country Festival."

Listed alongside O'Reilly during his speech was the following: "The USA has become the strongest nation on earth largely because of its Judeo-Christian traditions. Someone remind Obama."

Secularists "are mainly concerned with things of this world, like global warming."

Watch:

Later, O'Reilly stated that he himself believes in global warming, getting into a tough argument with guest Laura Ingraham, who proudly touted that she was "stockpiling SUVs... I'm buying as many as I can."

When Ingraham claimed that the planet was getting cooler - O'Reilly cut her off and said, "Well, that's not what the temperature says."

Someone please, explain to me the down side of taking action to combat 'global warming' is false. What is the down side of doing nothing if 'global warming' is true.

It violates their one true religion - money.

Otherwise, it's kinda a no duh moment. Hmm - there's a 10% chance (an extreme exaggeration of course - more like a 90% chance) that global warming will kill off billions of us, and make the rest of us have a hard time surviving. Do we fix it, or gamble with the lives of our entire species?

Me - even if I thought the odds were against it - I wouldn't gamble with merely my daughter's life that way, let alone billions of lives and our entire species.

Republicans p & m about the future of our grandchildren because of the stimulus plan...initiated but Bush and company, but they don't care if we leave them a legacy of a land that is uninhabitable.

I don't get it.

GOOD! I've had enough of elected leaders forcing their religion into policies that affect me! I don't want my kids learning "Intelligent Design" in school!

Didn't you mean G.W. Bush? No one has proven that Obama has wasted any money or that he has spent a few trillion.

Sure, Obama's had 7 months to fix everything that the Bush administration took 8 years to run into the ground. It's just shocking that everything isn't all better by now.

You people are frikkin' unbelievable.

Interesting how the nations that hold on to secular beliefs, where religion doesn't rule are the most sucessful - anywhere in Europe, America, China, Japan - the nations where religion rules and people are most involved with it - they're doing horribly - just look most anywhere in the Middle East. It's not about which religion - countries with a lot of Muslims, Buddhists, etc. do quite well as we do.

When religion takes over, when people don't take care of the things in this world - awful things happen. People are treated barbarically for departing from the rules of the religion, intolerance is the word of the day, and people with intelligence and creativity are marginalized or flee. That's the world Bill O would have us in.

That's a non-biblical tongue of a Catholic person speaking here. WTH does O'Reilly know about spiritualism? Catholics do what the pope tells them to do. They offer no biblical instruction or read the bible for themselves.

Global warming is done by man, the same as other horrendous things man has done to this precious earth and the human body. If O'Reilly were as spiritual as he says, he'd know this.

As far as being publicly spiritual, since when do people HAVE to show their religious beliefs in public?

Freedom of religion also can mean freedom from religion. You can't allow one without the other. If we could, I would prefer all religion be banned. It brings out the very worst in the very worst people.
