Conan Mocks Republicans: McCain's Age, Palin's Resignation, Sanford's Affair, And Cheney's Torture Euphemisms (VIDEO)

Conan O'Brien brought back an old "Late Night" segment yesterday in which he claimed to have pre-interviewed famous figures by mail and condensed their thoughts for our viewing pleasure, and even though it was called "celebrity survey" the butts of his jokes were mostly GOP figures.

He took shots John McCain for being alive during the American Revolution, Mark Sanford for his affair, the Bush administration for their euphemisms for torture, and Sarah Palin for a mix of illiteracy and her impromptu resignation. While Silvio Berlusconi isn't technically a Republican, he is a wildly conservative figure on the world stage and he too was mocked for his extra-marital affairs and tendency to put women he wants to sleep with in government positions.

Of course, the jokes didn't all come at the expense of politicians. Mickey Rourke, Larry King, Britney Spears and Heidi Montag were all made fun of for their face, age, parenting, and douchery respectively.
