According to family friend Gotham Chopra, the late star's eldest son Prince is a "fun kid" who "has a lot of energy." He describes Paris as "very thoughtful, very caring, and very sensitive" and quiet Blanket as "a lot like Michael."

As PEOPLE reported in 2007, by all accounts, the kids are bright, well-behaved and seemingly well-adjusted. A spokesman from the National Zoo, who accompanied the family on a visit, told PEOPLE at the time, "I was struck by how considerate and nice and normal they all were." Jackson's longtime bodyguard Miko Brando recently echoed that sentiment. "They are well-mannered, well-behaved kids," he said. "They are really level-headed."

No matter their genetic lineage, here's hoping the children get the help they need to make it through their lives in as normal and healthy a fashion as possible.

It's time to stop speculating on parentage and accept what is. These are the children of the late, great Michael Jackson. Their father has been gone only two weeks and they need to be left alone to adjust to a new life. It is also reported that each of the children have two arms and two legs... just like normal Earth children. Persons close to the family but not at liberty to give their names say they children like to eat ice cream. While at the memorial for their father, they seemed normal as they sat in their seats. Unconfirmed reports say their limbs bend in the regular manner, and all speak English fluently, although infrequently.

Will this stupidity ever come to an end?

I think those are his kids. Black is not always the dominate gene. The youngest boy looks like MJ. And furthermore have you scene Jermaine and Randy's kids? Google them.

Just as the media never left MJ alone, they will never leave his kids alone. Is it really anyone's business to find out who the sperm donor is? I can't imagine what it is like to have your whole life story scrutinized and analyzed in the media. Leave the kids alone!

Why are you so surpised the kids are normal...actually better than normal? Their father went through great pains to create a normal life for them and apparently he succeeded. The kids have a circle of family and friends that love and care for them and because they were unrecognizable until now they have been able to escape prying eyes when with friends and extended family.

I'm happy for them and proud of Micheal. By all accounts he was a great parent.
