Michelle Obama In Italy On Thursday (PHOTOS)

On Thursday, the first ladies of the G8 were given a tour of earthquake damage in L'Aquila by Italian Equal Opportunities Minister (and total hottie) Mara Carfagna.

Michelle Obama wore yellow for the second day in a row, layering a floral print cardigan by Liz Claiborne (last seen May 23rd en route to Camp David) over a daffodil-colored tank and skirt by J. Crew. Later that day,the first lady changed into all-black for a visit to the Pantheon with daughters Sasha and Malia.

OK, I'm going to say this even if it pisses everyone off, but I think MO's girls are better dressed then her. I'm not saying MO is poorly attired, but she has had some misses, but her girls are always perfect. It doesn't hurt that they are extremely cute either!

I agree and I think you're right that it doesn't hurt that they are cute. Most kids, no matter what their physical shape, look cute if dressed neatly. Adults on the other hand need to dress according to their body shape. We won't go there this AM.

What the @#?! was she thinking? Wearing a black dress with leggings? She is not 10 years old and and leggings are not a "chic" stylish look. She is the First Lady who represents the United States and she has let us down. What a tacky look, more fitting for going to the gym. Leggings are just not right for mature women in their 40's.

Hope the high and mighty and all of their kids are having fun touring the world on my dime. While Americans lose their jobs, health care, homes, and head to the welfare lines, the Obama's are dining on fine wines and sight seeing the globe.

I personally believe that the President should have his family around with him to keep him grounded. I just want to throw this out there. His girls and wife were kept in the back round the first couple months. Then When his programs began to have trouble we started to see more of Michelle and then his children. And now the eldest wears symbolic t-shirts. Welcome to Sarah Palins world and watch Republicans use this as you did with Palin and her family. I now consider his children part of the politics and fair game!

Please point to all the past presidents who took no family along on business trips abroad. Any idea what THEIR trips cost?

FYI: Air Force One costs same to fly whether 1 Obama on board or 5. The First Families stay in U.S. Embassies or are put up by host countries. Their security is already 24/7, whether they stay home or travel abroad. The vehicles are from the U.S. Embassies or provided by host countries. Otherwise, they pay for their personal expenses.

And Michelle Obama does all that PR work for FREE on behalf of the United States.

I believe also that First Ladies are required to reimburse the government for a first class ticket when they go on AF1. All of this kerfuffle is just hate speech from the Repugs. I appreciate that she is serving our country for free as she had an extremely well paying job that she gave up to serve our country. She has charmed the entire world with her sincerity and loving demeanor.
