Republicans facing tough elections in 2010 don't want Sarah Palin campaigning with them.

Though the soon-to-be-former Alaska governor is seen as popular with the conservative grass roots, several Republicans said she'd help them by staying home in Wasilla.

A recent poll shows 46% of Americans would vote for Silly Sara for President right now!!!!!!!

With these kinds of numbers every American with a lick of common sense should be cringing in fear.

The correct number (reported by USA Today) is that 70% of Republicans would vote for her. And since only about 20% of the voters identify themselves as Republicans, Sarah gets a whopping 14% of the vote.

Even at the end of Bush's term, about 30% of people still had favorable views of his tenure. That's what we're up against -- blind, thoughtless allegiance to the ignorant!!

The problem with the poll is that they asked "If Sarah Palin was the Republican nominee in 2010, would you vote for her?" They asked Republicans if they were going to vote for a Republican. They didn't ask if they'd rather vote for Romney or Pawlenty or whoever. It was worded so they'd get exactly the numbers they wanted.
