Palin

The Hill:

Republicans facing tough elections in 2010 don't want Sarah Palin campaigning with them.

Though the soon-to-be-former Alaska governor is seen as popular with the conservative grass roots, several Republicans said she'd help them by staying home in Wasilla.

Of course they do. Apart from rabid Sean Hannity fans, Palin is disgusting pig with lipstick.

The Dems should pay her to go to these states and campaign for the GOPers. No doubt she would.

She's all about the money and doesn't appear to care where it comes from.

I wonder how long it will take her to figure out that she is being used by the GOP.

They are misogynists, every one.

They would never have let her govern.

The GOP will use Sarah Palin but she won't see it that way as long as she feels she gets something out of it. Republicans and religious types used her in Alaska and she went along with it because they helped get her elected. This time, she will have to get a different type of payback for a quid pro quo acceptable to her.

Let's hope she does for Congressional Republicans in 2010 what she did for John McCain in 2008!

Kind of like Bush after the Republican covention last year. The man was MIA while the economy came crashing down. It's a good thing he re-emerged after Obama's innauguration. I heard they were just about to start putting his face on milk cartons.

She gave her resignation speech on July 3rd at her lakeside home. She briefly showed up in a parade in Juneau on the 4th. Went fishing and gave interviews. Went to two villages after that to sign bills.

The pattern is spending a short amount of time each day on state business so her vacation is paid by the state and she collects $60 per day in per diem.

They are being cautious now, but if Palin somehow defies the odds and all sense of reason and wisdom, which she seems to be able to do quite often, they will be begging her for help.

As Republicans are wont to do... all these candidates are looking in the rear view mirror of the last campaign. At that time, Palin had 80% approval ratings in her home state.

They so NOT seem to realize that those days are long gone.

Moderate Repuplicans who were willing to giver a shot, were trurned off last Fall by her lack of knowledge and arrogance,,,

Blame it on Katie Couric, and Charlie Gibson... and yes, Tina Fey for pointing out that she was totally out of her league in Washington.

The only people left to root for Palin are the same misfits and and bitter, gun-toting, racist rabble who attended the Tea Parties on Tax Day.

Fox News took one look at them and ran as fast as they could in the opposite direction, barely mentioning the "Teabaggers" on Independence Day.

The effect will be the same when Palin appears for these Republicans. The vast independent vote they depend on to win, will be turned OFF.

Therefore, I dully support Palin attending as many of the as she can handle. Every time she does, a Democrat benefits!
