While we of course do not claim to know anyone's thoughts, we nominate these two photos top candidates for most awkward picture of the G-8 meeting.

Suspiciously, Sarkozy appears in both photos. Ah, the French. They're a terrible influence. Those are some big smiles boys. Just sayin!

I saw it on tv. Some media wants these photo's to be THE story, instead of the truth. The video of what the POTUS was actually doing tells the real story, not some fabricated, dishonest story told by some press and being elevated by HuffPo.

The problem with deifying someone the way some are deifying Obama is the deified person is no longer able to be human. And when "the deified one" does act human, it's seen as some kind of moral failing. It doesn't matter if Obama was oogling at that moment. If he did, it should have simply been ignored. Instead the stupid Obamistas attempted to make it appear as if the despicable right's publishing of his "oogling" snapshot was inaccurate. The reality is that video does not clear up whether he "oogled" for a minute or not. And it doesn't matter if he did.

That's not what I saw in the video. It did not CLEARLY show he was or wasn't oogling at the woman's butt. So what if he were? I'm alot more upset about Obama's warmongering and war crimes by escalating the undeclared Afghanistan war and keeping Bush-level troop levels in Iraq while the economy needs those resources than I am about whether he was staring at a woman's butt for a human moment. I'm alot more upset with his adopting guns and butter policies and his support of deregulation, unbridled free trade despite his rhetoric to the contrary and his selection of voodoo economists to monitor the economy than I am about an unguarded second of staring or not staring at some woman's butt.

Actually, the press always seemed to respect Bush's marriage to Laura, which was by all reports very strong. His personal interactions were always very professional, as is Obama's style. Both of them are very different from Bubba Clinton or LBJ.
