Here we go again. Can someone tell me why this article is even worthy of print? So, thirty-three years ago Al Franken was making a living as a comedian, so what? Years prior to that he was letting his mother give him a bath, should that be newsworthy as well? Is there anyone here that doesn't know Al Franken's history as a TV comedy writer, on stage performer and author? The only reason for this kind of slag is a very lame attempt to reduce his impact as a serious legislator. Al Franken was a much better comedian then Ronald Reagan was an actor yet the right wingers look on Ronnie as the second damn coming. Give me a break!
