Why can't I find the SNL sketch where Al was candidate Pete Tagliani running against incumbent Winfield Adcock (Davis)? It was classic, poking fun at negative campaigning (including soliciting sex in a men's room - how prolific) - and it isn't posted anywhere.

I also find it surprisingly difficult to find Al Franken's comedy material on YouTube. I am guessing this is mainly because of who Al has become in the last ten or so years. That sort of material doesn't represent who he is now as much as his commentary and jokes from his Air America show. He is a very very well-prepared and disciplined comedian, more than most.

Yeah I'm sure we are all trembling now that you uttered the "C" word. Al Franken is a communist wow! Well it must be true, head for the hills! But ya know...if people, even dopes like you, actually understood what real communism was there would be video of us all admitting we were members because it would be an ideal arrangement for most people, only our current masters the super wealthy who run the nation from within and without would object. In the end it is just unpractical like all utopian fantasies, life like capitalism is unfair and indiscriminate favoring the few and the fortunate.

The contrast in his personality between his natural funniness and his message discipline will make him among our best Senators. These are qualities NEEDED in Congress. Sense of humor is lacking on both sides.
