FBI Interrogators At Gitmo Acted Like Frat Boys On Spring Break: Female Agent

The first full-time female FBI agent to be stationed at Guantanamo says she was made to bunk with vermin that gave her a tropical disease and was ostracized because she refused to join in a "spring break" atmosphere in which agents were encouraged to drink, date, and frolic when not interrogating alleged terrorists. She says FBI agents attended parties dressed in "mocking imitation of Arab or Afghan attire" and in orange detainee jumpsuits.

I will take the agent's word for it that this happenend. But I've got to say , This doesn't sound anything like the FBI agents I've met in my lifetime. I mean they are usually they are the picture of professionalism.

My first question would be , were these FBI Agents? Military ? Contractors?

These "frat boys" depending on their age grew up during the Clinton administration and formed their values way before Bush took over. This is typical America. We won't take responsibility for raising our kids, take the cable out and the internet, so when they turn out bad it is someone elses fault. The Man in the Mirror.

If your supervisor or manager tells you to take the day off, do you say "no, that would be unprofessional"? Or do you just take the day off?

When your manager tells you to do something, you do it. If your manager says it's okay to get trashed after you finish interrogating a detainee, you're probably going to go get trashed - especially if you see others doing it. It has nothing to do with whatever values the people have, and everything to do with what their bosses would let them do.

These young men who are "blowing off steam' come back home, live in our neighborhoods, date or daughters, come into our homes, go near our children, become police, attorneys, judges, teachers, preachers, and God knows what else. And all this 'blowing off steam' is acceptable, now, and will be acceptable later. More family violence, more violence against our children, our teens, our adults.

I live around these types which like to blow off a little steam, and they do a lot of damage.

So, all that "club gitmo" stuff was fairly accurate.... only it wasn't the detainees that were enjoying the "spring break" festivities like the conservatives might want you to believe...

I hope this case gets some attention in the MSM - I doubt it, though
