Michael Jackson's family is bitterly divided over how best to profit off the King of Pop's remains -- so his body has been stashed in Motown maestro Berry Gordy's crypt until the clan stops bickering, The Post has learned.

One thing I have never heard. Did he actually discuss Diana Ross getting the kids with her? If not, it makes no legal sense to put that in the will, especially considering Katherine Jackson might not get them because of her age.

It is not bad enough that his father beat him physically and mentally. Now he has to see how best to profit off his remains. The even sadder thing to come is when the authorities prosecute some of the doctors and other abettors who contributed to Jackson's drug abuse, assuming that is what the evidence shows. The defendants will be entitled to the autopsy results including pictures - and you just know those will end up on the front page of the Enquirer or some other rag.

^ How do you know that? Just because MJ had an overbearing father doesn't mean he "beat" him....Berry Gordy has stated that he never saw abuse while the Jacksons were on his label. Sometimes I think MJ had an overactive imagination.

And we don't know if this story is true. Wait until you see the interview by the Jackson family and let them address it. I don't think there's a problem with the body being buried. Could be they're waiting for the brain from the coroner -- you think? Could be they don't have money to bury him, it could be a lot of stuff. You know, that funeral must have cost at least $100,000. The insurance money hasn't kicked in yet. Not until the death certificate.
