i bet no one question motivation when they made Graceland a museum for Elvis Presley. I don't think money is a factor. I think the Jackson family (rightfully) wants to preserve Michael's Legacy for his beloved fans. I'm sure Michaels's fans would love to visit Neverland in the future to commemorate his legend. Michael loved his fans.

That would be plausible except Michael Jackson never wanted to go back there again.

I would love for MJ to be buried at Neverland if that were his wishes. He clearly did not want to go back to Neverland and said so himself, so I think his wishes should be respected.

Michael Jackson...the perpetual victim. Not saying I approve but I can understand his taking drugs and spending money wildly. At least he had some control. I hope he was able to nurture his children in a way that they will be able to withstand what is coming their way. Because this is a long way from over. God bless those kids. Michael, I'd say "Rest in peace" but I think we all know better. Thank you for your sacrifice. It was a big one. We'll keep your music in our hearts. Seems that's all we CAN do.

I was thinking the same thing. We'll keep your music in our hearts - but also keep playing it. Would like to think that he would want us to dance.

Yeah, you can always count on the New York Post (another Murdoch owned paper) to report the truth. NOT!!!!!

"...Jackson's body is still missing his brain..."
That's the funniest effing thing I've read in weeks.
Poor Jacko. It didn't take long for his 'loving' family to start fighting over $$$, did it?

It would seem that family greed outshining respect for the remains of their meal ticket is one more thing that Michael has in common with James Brown.

Ah the New York Post, the herpes of journalism.

Agreed, except that there's not a whole lot of 'journalism' going on at the Post. It's all about selling papers. Higher circulations numbers = higher $$ charged for advertising. They'll print whatever garbage might sell more papers. They are a 'paper', but they sure ain't peddling news!

I thought they were storing his body until the autopsy was finished on his brain, if so, then his family is probably discussing - not squabbling - over his final resting place.

People wonder why Jackson wouldn't speak to them or allow them at his house? THIS IS WHY.

Goes to show that even in the death of his son, Joe is about the money. If Neverland was a source of pain for MJ, why bury him in his source of pain? They can still turn Neverland into a museum without burying him there. Goodness.

it's not about money. it's about Michael's legacy. Gone but not forgotten. that's what they did for Elvis Presley. Michael Jackson is a bigger star than Elvis and should be commemorated with his own museum. I say yeah for Joe Jackson to not allow his son to die in vain. Michael sacrificed himself to entertain us for years. the media hounds and hatemongers sent him to a early grave, just as they did Princess Diana. A Michael Jackson museum is in order and well deserved. it will also benefit the state of California as a revenue generating tourist attraction.
