A picture is emerging of Michael Jackson's copious consumption of prescription pills that is downright disturbing. CNN obtained a confidential document that portrays the pop singer as heavily addicted to the powerful anti-anxiety drug Xanax, which Jackson used to battle insomnia.

Jackson was routinely taking more than 10 Xanax pills a night, and was going to extreme lengths to keep up his vast supply, using multiple employees to fill prescriptions of the drug for him under their own names.

According to the document CNN obtained, one Jackson staffer offered this shocking statement: "Jackson was doing better because he was down from 30 to 40 Xanax pills a night."

Additionally, TMZ reports that they've confirmed via law enforcement sources that "Jackson had "dozens" of injection sites and punctures all over his body the day he died."

Cub Named After Michael Jackson

“I love listening to Michael Jackson, I have all of his albums at home, and I wanted to honor his memory.”

Like Elvis, MJ was surrounded by those who enabaled and by users. Those who cared about the guy were kept from the Memorial ... Uri and Deepak were not invited of course. They gave a damn about the poor guy while the rest were in denial. He was a mess.

LaToya spoke openly about Jacko's problems back in the 90's on a national radio show ... instead of anyone in the family helping the guy, they hushed up La Toya instead. He didn;t have a chance after that.

I felt sorry for Jackson. Hoping he is in a much better place now.

He traveled the world constantly, and he hasn't worked for nearly 13 years. He was merely fulfilling his every whim, going into debt doing it, while medicated to the hilt. He had friends that cared, family, and any number of ways to get thru his problems. He chose a different path, and left his kids without a Father. Nobody made Michael do anything. No one could. If that were possible he might still be alive. My sympathy goes to his kids, but Michael's life was Michael's-and he was the one with absolute control of it. Trying to blame others for what happened to him, or for the loss you feel with him gone, is ridiculous.

People like you never do your own research to support your claims, do you? Did you know that Dr. Klein also diagnosed him with systemic lupus, as was confirmed by what Dionne Warwick saw in the 1980's? Does it matter to you that it is a very painful and debilitating disease? Of course not, you enjoy hating others, especially people with more talent than you .

Always-- keep our eyes on the sanctimonious among us. They have the answers to everything. What a joke! His talents remains his ... and can' t be taken away, irrespective of detractors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RhwPssa8-sc

People like you never do your own research to support your claims. Dr. Klein is a dermatologist. If, thats a big if, he suspected Lupus, Jackson would then be referred to a Rheumatologist for a diagnosis. Lupus is chronic, but easily managed in almost all cases. Drinking Jesus Juice and popping a dozen zantex is not part of that manage plan.

It's the fault of doctors who allowed him to get all of these drugs. They were enablers and should be put to jail just like drug dealers are. They were providing him with drugs that wasn't even supposed to leave the doctor's office. People can't get addicted to prescription drugs if the doctors stop supplying them with it. All they are worried about is making money. They could have weaned him off of it by giving him placebos(medicine that really isn't nothing but the patient think it is) and said no but because they were fans themselves they didn't have the power to say no. We don't need those types of doctors in our world. I hope they all lose their licenses and do time because they are the ones who are truly killing people.
More and more kids are using prescription drugs to get high instead of marijuana. That should say enough about our doctors.

I hope your kidding right......I hope you dont think that we can write a script for a patient that says.... please give out 30 xanax (just give 15 real and 15 sugar)..... get real!

No dear, it is mostly their parent's medicine cabinets that are supplying their prescription "highs"!!! It is their PARENT'S RESPONSIBILITY!! Blame the parent's first, then maybe the doctors and let's not forget the pharma industry. Advertising is a big part of the problem here!! Drug advertising!!

If MJ was using third parties to score drugs for him, there is almost no way the doctors could have stopped him. Abuse of prescription drugs is a very, very common problem in the US today. The big drug companies aren't exactly going out of their way to try and prevent that abuse either!

MJ didn't claim that drug addiction was the weeding-out process of the genetically inferior - as RL did in the early to mid '90's, only to be discovered to have his own prescription addiction.

MJ didn't spew hatred and a philosophy of capitalist feudalism as RL did. I'm not defending MJ, here, I'm pointing out the difference. MJ certainly had his faults, but it was RL's hypocrisy on top of his hatred of people that has caused him to be a target of scorn.

And it's not hypocritical for a sitting lawmaker (Kennedy) to have an under-the-influence driving incident?

It's not hypocritical for a sitting lawmaker to have a drunk-driving accident which costs the life of a young woman (and he doesn't report it for 10 hours)??

Where's the left's stringent scorn for them?

Maybe it's because Jackson wasn't a professional hater, like Limbaugh. His songs, charitable works and messages seemed to be about love.

Hate begets hate!

If anyone on here wants to know actual facts about Jackson's illness as diagnosed by his doctor, here is a very good link:

http://www.medicinenet.com/systemic_lupus/page2.htm

This isn't a disease to play with. This man had systemic lupus. My mother has it, and I can't begin to tell people how painful and horrifying this disease is. It literally turns people into walking corpses if it escalates. I've lost two friends to this disease. The level of hate, condemnation, and lack of concern from people who post on here is unbelievable. If he had full blast lupus, there wouldn't have been enough pills in the world to help him. My mother has three bags of medications, so the police taking two bags doesn't suprise me. This man was incredibly sick. As far as drug induced lupus, I think people should read what types of drugs cause drug-induced lupus. There is not way Jackson was taking those drugs back in the 1980's.

The level of intentional and proud ignorance of people in America is virtually mind-blowing.

As is this outpouring of sypmathy that never existed before he died, as well as people making excuses for a 50 year old drug addict that had every resource at his fingertips to get better for himself, and his children. If you can travel the world, back and forth, have a "neverland' to play in, etc., you can go and get some therapy and a real Dr. that would prescribe an adequate treatment. Michael was not a Welfare case with no options. He had plenty, and he made the WRONG choices. PERIOD.

Your mom needs to see a new doctor. More often then not increased medicatiions lead to increase in flair ups. If Your mom has three bags of meds, and using most of them, she is most likely doing more harm then good for herself.

people who have to work 2 or 3 jobs just to survive are "in pain"

people who have to look after loved ones that are ill are "in pain"

people losing thier homes are "in pain"

etc, etc, etc,

if everyone "in pain" practiced such destructive behavior we'd have anarchy...

as beloved as he was all over the world, sadly and unfortunately michael jackson hated himself...

Elvis all over again. However, with Elvis there were emotional and many personal issues. With Michael, his use of drugs, in summary, was white people telling him he was a freak and weird.
