If this is Obama's was of reaching out and building bridges, forget it. Cheney and the Repugnantans only see that as a sign of weekness. They have no intention of ever giving The President the benefit of the doubt on anything and will find some nefarious way to turn this good-will gesture against him. As others have said here, let Cheney use his ill-gotten millions to pay for his own protection. I'm sure that the knuckle dragging thugs at Blackwater are heavily indebted to him.
