Did the Obama administration overstate their claim that if 800000 billion dollar stimulus bill was passed immediately unemployment would not go over 8%? Did it overstate when they promised no lobbyists? Did they overstate when they said Obama would go line by line and get rid of all pork? Did the administration overstate when they promised to keep track of how and where our money was spent?

omg OMG OMG! Sister Sarah has been caught fibbing again . . . what to do . . . what to do [ panic mode ] . . . I know lets talk about something else . . . Yeah that's it . . . Ummm . . . how about the Other One . . .

LOL ;)

Why talk about the person that can make no policy affecting this country? We NEED to talk about something else. The Other One IS the one making policy that so far he "fibbed" about.

"800000 billion" is redundant.

He doesn't have line-item veto privilege.

You have a point with the lobbyists and the keeping track of the stim money.

Actually, "800000 billion" is just wrong. It's either 800 billion or 800,000,000.000.

I think. All I know is that it's more than I make in a week. ;-)

She (Palin) received at least $5,500 in checks larger than $250 sent by supporters during her run as John McCain's running mate.

At the time her report was submitted, Palin said the checks had not been cashed and that her family still had not opened envelopes that filled dozens of boxes.

"Those boxes contain more letters of support and may even contain more gifts," she wrote.

There's a lot of good folks who have come together to help the governor respond to these frivolous complaints that have really distracted her," said Kristan Cole, the fund's trustee and a personal friend of Palin. "Our goal is to pay the legal expenses to allow her to get back to the business of being governor, which is what we elected her for."

"Gov. Palin is truly humbled by the tremendous outpouring of support from her fellow Alaskans and the wonderful people across our great country," Stapleton said. "With the success of this trust, Gov. Palin will be able to continue getting results for the people of Alaska without these unnecessary distractions."

Contributing heavily to Palin's legal debts was the Troopergate probe last fall.

The Alaska Legislature investigated whether Palin and aides pressured the state's public safety commissioner to fire a state trooper involved in a contentious divorce with Palin's sister, and whether Palin fired the commissioner, Walt Monegan, because he would not do so.
(Yet another friviolous accusation?)

Palin likes to "pad" things. She pads her legal bills, her per diem expenses, her husband's house-building skills, her birth story, her belly...

November 2008 - KVUE. com http://www.kvue.com/news/top/stories/112208kvue-palin-mw.1da70eaa9.htmll) entitled, Palin Considers 800 Requests For Appearances.

While books and movie deals could be worth millions of dollars, it's not clear if Palin would be able to legally earn it. State rules say she cannot accept outside employment for compensation.

"Tomorrow, Governor Palin could do an interview with any news media on the planet," said her spokesman, Bill McAllister. "Tomorrow, she could probably sign any one of a dozen book deals. She could start talking to people about a documentary or a movie on her life. That's the level we are at here."

Palin is considering about 800 requests for appearances from December through 2009, with 75 percent coming from out of state. A year ago, just a sprinkle of requests came from beyond Alaska's borders.

As with any celebrity, there is the risk of overexposure. At the same time, she'll be under pressure to attend to governing her home state, which is thousands of miles from the rest of the nation.

"She has to deal with the perception that she bobbled her debut," said Claremont McKenna College political scientist John Pitney. "She needs to stay home for a while. If she wants a future in national politics, her No. 1 job is doing a good job as governor."

Notice that McAllister refers to Palin as a celebrity - not a politican.

Does the name Ken Star ring a bell? Does anybody know for how long he was investigating a "thick skin" politician and how many cases he relentlessly pursued?

This woamn complained about the media after just 2 months into the campaign. She keeps compalining and quit her job after she was being investigated for a couple of months. And she still wants to be President. Forget about her ignorance, just the fact that she couldn't handle the pressure as a Governor of a state of 600,000 people, now she wants to run the world of 6 billion people. Pathetic

yes obviously if the state of alaska cannot afford to have this lighting rod of a pork hating maverick as governor, the USA cannot afford to have her in the White House either.
