The BBC has learned that the News of the World was behind Mulcaire's monitoring of phone messages left for Rebekah Wade, the editor of its sister paper, the Sun.
Ms Wade - soon to become chief executive of the papers' parent company News International - was informed at the time but declined to press charges, according to BBC business editor Robert Peston.

Ms Wade is in a position to bankrupt his Rupertship. I wish her the best of luck if she embarks on that enterprise. It is a very worthy enterprise. It would be a great benefit to the whole world if Ms Wade were able to bankrupt his Rupertship. That would kill all of Murdoch's schemes. We would all be freed of the curse of Murdoch. Good on you, Ms Wade.

Actually his Rupertship is the lympho granuloma venerium of MSM. Paying off Ms Wade & others subject to his phone hacking could leave Murdoch as Madoff, I hope.
