The media have managed to work themselves into a tizzy because the clothing company J. Crew issued a press release in which it noted that Malia and Sasha Obama were wearing clothes bearing its label and that of its children's line, Crewcuts, when the first family arrived in Moscow on Monday.

Mrs. Obama shopped for her daughters clothing at J Crew BEFORE they
lived in the White House and there is no reason for her to stop now.

No, there choices are a matter of public record if the media chooses to indulge in that type of reporting. The Obamas have small children. So the public will see them from time to time, as they should. But it doesn't mean the media needs to mention them beyond the fact that they were present.

The Obamas have responsibly keep their children away from the public eye, except when appropriate. The media should respect the privacy of young children, period.

The Obamas have been very careful about their daughters privacy which the media has rey arspected. However, Malia and Sasha are the daughters of the president which makes them the FCOTUS, hence when they're part of a big event/trip the FC should allow pictures to be taken.

The Obamas have constantly put their children in the public eye to promote themselves as Camelot 2. It is no wonder JCrew felt the children were fair game to advertise their clothing. Not only is the public weary of the Obama's self promotion but to keep their children in the public glare is bad for them. It is an invasion of their privacy. It makes them self-conscious and further isolates them from their peers. The Obamas have chosen to live their lives in the public sphere and to have the public camera focused on them. They have chosen to be public figures with all the good and bad attention that goes with that life. But their children have not had that choice. It is the responsibility of the Obamas to protect their children from the public glare as much as possible. They need to strictly limit the public appearances of the children, as most public figures do, and request that no photographs of the children be taken. While the public may want to see the kids, most understand that the restriction is for the good of the children and will be satisfied with an occasional photo.

So do you think Obama should never take his kids out in public? The strange think is people constantly make assumptions of the Obama's and then try and claim that Obama made them. He's NEVER said anything about Camelot you and others have......if he was going around saying that he is camelot then you would have a point.

The girls will NOT be locked up in the attack nor will they walk around with mask on. If he was NEVER with his kids then the question would be why? Does he have any family values? But at least I know I will have a daily laugh at the twist of turns people are taking to put any kind of negative lite on Obama.

Please cite when POTUS and FLOTUS has NOT limited the public appearances of their daughters................ It's not like we see them EVERYDAY ..................

And please be reminded that POTUS was very specific that his daughters were not photographed at their soccer games, or during the White House TV special. in fact we hardly ever see them.....

We have not seen the Obama daughters in their classroom, at play, hanging out with their friends, or even roaming around the White House...... All things which take up MOST OF THEIR DAY AND NIGHT.

SO AGAIN TELL US ABOUT POTUS AND FLOTUS NOT LIMITING THEIR DAUGHTER'S PUBLIC APPEARANCES.

During President Obama's trip to France (D-Day event), and his recent trip to Russia, Italy and Ghana the daughters were NOT in attendance at ANY "official" function .............. Dad went to work and the girls stayed behind............ And when they emerged it was to do the educational tours and sightseeing with mom or grandma as anyone on vacation does.

What we saw of the girls while on vacation in Europe was done courtesy of the NOSY paparazzi.

So don't fabricate your views and present them as fact............. And don't hate just because the Obamas got the "family thing" 100% correct.
