I love how they can't even bust Obama checking out a girl. The video on Politico clearly shows it was nothing of the sort, for Obama anyway. You can't fake excellent character.
oh settle down. I think everyone knows it was not intentional, but there is nothing wrong with joking about it.
The fall of Rome-it is happening right before our eyes-history repeating itself. A great nation, consumed by things, money, sex, lies, gossip, power, hipocrisy, ignorance. We are spellbound by the unimportant. Captivated by the mundane. Unable to tell truth from lies and manipulated like puppets by all manner of propaganda. How unfortunate we don't exert energy for the betterment of mankind with the same passion. God help us to help ourselves.
Good grief....Americans are always looking for some sort of s e xual scandal!
i guess if the photo really showed obama ogling the young woman he should; a. be frog marched outside and shot, or b. immediate impeachment. seriously, many people seriously need to get a life. next; a photo of one of obama's daughters ogling candy. git a rope!
As much as I hate quoting "Politico," they have a GMA video of the incident with Obama and that chick in pink.

Obama was helping the young lady to his back-right down the steps.
That video is hilarious.
A photo is not stereo, like your eyes. Using one eye, or one lens, flattens perspective. What you see with two eyes is more reliable than what a camera sees with one lens.
Look at the bottom of the photo - she's climbing up a step (you can see her right foot on the next step up) while he's climbing down a step (both of his feet are out of the photo, below the step the woman is standing on). He was significantly closer to the camera than she was, in reality. His head is not turned sharply enough for him to be looking at her butt, since her butt is already well past his right side.
This not a picture of the prez ogling a pretty woman, it's a fine lesson in optics and the value of stereo vision. I assume that he DOES occasionally ogle pretty women, since he's evidently a mainly heterosexual man, but this is not one of those occasions.
I guess if it had looked like Barack was whistling in the frame, then they would be wanting to do to him what happened to Emmett Till in Money, Mississippi. Because I guarantee you, the first thing most conservatives thought wasn't that what the apparent image shows isn't something a President should be doing. Their first thought was that it isn't something a black man should be doing, because the girl appears to be white. If Fox runs with this, I'm going to have to hear the redneck a$$wipes I work around lay out their opinions on Monday. The peons will be blunt about how they feel, but the boss is nearly smart enough to do it passive-aggressively. I'm not sure which I detest more.
President Obama is not openly going look at any woman like that, with cameras everywhere watching his every move. He's not stupid! No way he would disrespect his wife and family, especially when they are with him. Yes, the President is a black man and is everything the Republicants wish they were more like him. That is why they have to smear him so they can have company in their immoral ways.
Oh my god! What a disgusting slob. Even in the video you can see that he is breaking his neck to watch that little girls rear walk by. Then he realizes what he is doing and makes like he is helping someone walk up a step. At least clinton made an honest attempt to make sure his girls were of legal age. But then again, maybe 16 is legal age in Italy. When in Rome...
You can't be serious. Barack was doing the right thing, Sarkozy on the other hand is a different story.
No matter how many times in your effed up head you re-play the scenario it's still never going to be TRUE.
U r one to talk. U were helping to spread the lies yesterday even when I said I dont think he's looking at the girl. Now u feel ridiculous.
"ThePeople" you are a liar!
No he didn't look, here is the full footage showing what took placed:

msnbc is covering for Obama by not showing the complete video. Before he even begins to help the woman down the steps, his eyes already appear to be following the girl's posterior. Whether or not he actually is looking is debatable, since there may have been something besides the girls posterior which caused him to look in her direction. At least he doesn't come across as ogling her as Sarkozy appears to be doing.

Stop projecting what you would do on to others, it's pathetic. How long did you stare at the "little girls rear" in that video frame, anyways?
Am I the only person who knew immediately that this was some sort of misleading or trick photography? First of all, Obama is just too cool to let anyone catch him eyeballing another woman. He's especially sensitive when the cameras are around. What the video makes clear is that he was being a gentleman trying to help another woman down the steps. What's absolutely frustrating is that there are some dumb people out there who will believe the lies the right wing perpetrates. They are so angry that the President takes his family with him and that he really likes his wife, so now they are making things up. Well, I'm glad this has happened. The President now knows how far his enemies are willing to go to cause him problems.
Watch the video on ABC.
Regarding the pic of President Obama "looking at the girl"
As many people know by now, it's not really true -- if you look at the video, you see what really was happening: he was turning to help another lady down a step.
Naturally, the right wing has snapped the instant and has been trying to make it "a story." Isn't it amazing how the right in this country feels that the only way they can "win" an argument is to make stuff up.
In any case, who cares. Men look at women's butts. Republicans liked Palin's so much, they voted for it. Now let's get back to important issues...
Be honest. If it was Bush instead of Obama, the media would have been all over this one.
And the liberals would have loved every minute of it.
The media is/was all over this. Huf and a lot of blogs supposedly pro Obama had this misleading image. The media never messed with the Bushes marriage.
And it would have been over in 15 minutes or less, long forgotten by the time Bush's term was over. A Politician checking out a hot girl isn't big news unless the politician does more than look.
OK, so he has an eye for young booty, so what?
Maybe you do, but Obama doesn't.
When all attention was on the SC Governor, the Nevada Senator, and their affairs, why not attempt to distract everybody with a glance at the POTUS? Especially with Sarkozy's wandering eyes next to him?
This is not funny. The video of President Obama turning to help the girl behind him step down tells a different story and Huffpo needs to retract and correct this error. Remember the Harold Ford "Call Me" ad? This is that type of smear, only worse as the girls in this photo op look very young.
A lot of the right wingers assumed the girl was white based on her hair and already have said some pretty nasty "white women be afraid of the uncontrollable black man" thing.
