Most of Wall Street, and America, is still waiting for an economic recovery. Then there is Goldman Sachs.

Up and down Wall Street, analysts and traders are buzzing that Goldman, which only recently paid back its government bailout money, will report blowout profits from trading on Tuesday.

Either Matt Taibbi's article in rolling stone is a conspiracy theory, or he's one of the most talented investigative writer's out there. The NYT story today and the fact that Goldman Sachs has a bonafide program (almost stolen a few days ago)that can manipulate markets seems to support Taibbi's allegations. Also, the fact that most of the business press is so eager to ignore Taibbi, rather than (at least) disprove his article, shows that they (the business press) is probably in on this corporate deception themselves. As time will prove, it's not just Goldman Sachs. Many other businesses are in on this insider's trading club. Bernard Madoff and Allen Sanford would have been exposed a long time ago, if the business press had investigated their amazing profits, rather than interviewed them and praised them for such business savvy. The business press are quite simply, conduit for wealthly manipulators.

Now, the companies are showing profit and paying back TARP money (with interest), you seem upset.

If Goldman Sachs makes a $2 billion Q1 profit, it should make one wonder if TARP was needed at all. Paulson, The Dems and Repubs used typical political scare tactics to ram through legislation that benefited the few who screwed things up. Plus, not all of the TARP money can be accounted for. Surprise, surprise.
