If he cheats on his wife, he will cheat on the good people of South Carolina.

Why would anyone listen to Mrs. Sanford at this point, she has already proven she can't look at this objectivel­y. Just what is she clinging to Governor Sanford told the world, his mistress was his soulmate.

Jenny Sanford is a well-educa­ted woman, from a wealthy family, who has proven she can command a salary that will provide for her 4 sons. She doesn't need him for $$$. Her self-confi­dence is in the toilet right now. She needs to go away somewhere for the rest of the summer with her kids and get real about that guy she thinks she needs. Then, when she gets back, hand the governor a one way ticket to Argentina and tell him not to let the door hit him on the way out.

The only job Mark Sanford wishes to save begins with the word blow and has an Argentinia­n woman at the other end of it. He thinks he's met his soulmate but he just had his wick lit, a job Jenny doesn't seem interested in. Their marriage will only last as long as it is politicall­y expediant for Jenny or until such a point that Mark can no longer stand it and literally runs to South America.
Meanwhile, it will be fun to see just how much the good citizens of South Carolina are also willing to swallow before they choke on the absurdity of their governor's behavior.
