Jon Gosselin paraded his young new girlfriend around the South of France this weekend. Jon and 22-year-old Hailey Glassman - who's the daughter of Kate's tummy-tuck plastic surgeon - hung out with designer Christian Audigier on his yacht in St Tropez. They were casually holding hands and sharing private jokes.

Whatever you think of Kate, she is the one raising those kids by herself while he's reliving his college years. Would'nt be surprised if I saw him down shots with some old frat boys. And with 8 children. Could you imagine the scorn had it been Kate to leave the home?

Kate's done plenty of traveling without the kids. Kate is no martyr. She is living the life she chose. She had twins, but that wasn't enough. She opted for more fertility treatments. Jon was humiliated each week on TV with her comments. That doesn't give him the right to have an affair. Both Jon and Kate are all about themselves and have been since the beginning. The kids will suffer because of their decisions. Neither Jon or Kate are the victims in this. The kids are.

He met her a while ago, they began an emotional, long-distance affair and he finally felt safe enought to dump his family so he can try to return to a simple life like he had before marriage and kids. There was an episode where he went off for about 8 days, supposedly to help his mom clean her garage or some such thing. He seemed awfully eager to get on the road for someone who was about to embark on a week of tossing out old paint cans and sweeping mouse poop from under Ma Gosselin's Buick.

It's always been my opinion that Kate was a real control freak and her constant insulting of Jon on the show took it's toll. If she was that way on TV, what did she do when they were alone.

The kids adore their father because he's the calm, comforting one and they relate to his presence.

It's totally ok for a divorced father of eight to date. It's ridiculous for a divorcing father of eight with no job, no education, and living off of the earnings of his children to be publicly parading around like a sixteen year old with no responsibilities. He should just kind of keep it on the QT.

Part of those earnings belong to each party: Kate, Jon, and some to each of the kids. He has a right to spend his portion of his earnings.

I doubt that he could keep any relationship on the QT. Not unless they fade from celebrityhood.

Agreed. I'm a woman, and I can't imagine ever behaving in such a way to my husband. She humiliated and emasculated him far to many times, and the branch they were on broke with no way to repair it. It sounds like he moved on emotionally a long time ago, and Kate's in the thick of the breakup.

Kate should enter therapy and try to fix some of her issues before she embarks on another relationship. She might need a little medication, too.

I have never, in my life, seen anyone as controlling as she is.

I have to agree with your comment. I watched the show religiously last year while recovering from a bone marrow transplant (have cancer) and I was horrified the way she talked to Jon (and I can be a nasty witch myself). You really cannot treat a man that way and expect to keep him. She did do a number on him.

I am not justifying his behavior, but Kate emasculated Jon. Most men will go away, if treated that way, and find someone who will make them feel appreciated. Sorry, but men are weak that way, so if you want to keep them...you must try to do better.

Jon and Kate admitted several times on the show that after having the twins, she wanted "just one more." He stated that he was satisfied with the children they had. She also seems to want to be the boss. Now she is.

Scientifically, their having 8 kids, several which were born at the same time, is no great accomplishment at all. Fertilizing eggs externally, implanting them into the womb of a healthy women, and bring them to term today is no huge challenge (I say this as someone with a doctorate in biomedical engineering). So.... again, can somebody make me famous? I deserve it at least as much as Jon.
