Track Palin

In an interview with the Washington Times, resigning Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) made a surprising admission: Her own son doesn't belong to the party she represented on the national state last fall. Asked what she would do once she stepped down from her post, Palin told the paper she would campaign for candidates she favored, whatever their party:

"I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of their party label or affiliation," she said over lunch in her downtown office, 40 miles from her now-famous hometown of Wasilla -- population 7,000 -- where she began her political career.

"People are so tired of the partisan stuff -- even my own son is not a Republican," said Mrs. Palin, who stunned the political world earlier this month with her decision to step down as governor July 26 with 18 months left in her term.

Palin may be expanding her horizons out of necessity. Vulnerable Republicans facing reelection in 2010 have said they don't want her help.

It was the republicans who made partisan a household word. i was independent until they started saying that you had to make a choice. They were anti-science so I chose the democrats. Now I rather like them. They are nice for the most part and try to do the right thing.

First of all, neither was Hubby until it became politically expedient. Secondly, if you had THAT for a mother, you would likely do everything you could to distance yourself from it. Thirdly, brains are not exactly abundant in that family, so most likely the concept of a political affiliation is about the last thing on his mind.

Palin is BS-ING and fishing for low information people to side with her. I couldn't care less if her son is a Republican, Democrat, or a Pinkwithpurplepolkadots!!! Bottom line; she is still sides with the GOP and I cannot trust anything she says...especially the one about her voting Democrat...a typical hypocritical GOPer trying to pull the bait-n-switch...Repugnants have done this for years...and, sad to say, with some success to sucker low info voters to side with them.

Probably because he's serving. They usually register as Independent...doesn't mean he doesn't vote Republican.
