COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The number of cadets with confirmed cases of the swine flu at the Air Force Academy has increased to 67.

The Gazette newspaper in Colorado Springs reported Monday that 121 freshmen with flu-like symptoms have been separated from the rest of the cadets. They were placed in a dormitory on the base near Colorado Springs late last week when they started showing symptoms.

The "doolies," members of the incoming freshman class, are among about 1,300 cadets who arrived recently for their first weeks of military training.

A possible outbreak of swine flu ended a summer youth camp early at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, where 10 students and three staff members showed symptoms Sunday.

Wash your hands. Wear a mask. Don't go to school. Don't go into crowded spaces. It's all great, however, I think it is being blown up to be more than what it is. I was in Toronto last week and across the street from my hotel there was a line out the door and down the street to buy a PCO light called WellnessLight Kids to kill the virus. I was at the airport in Tokyo a month before and it looked like a hospital with everyone wearing masks. I got off the plane in Bangkok, Thailand and the first thing I see in the newspaper in big bold letters - SWINE FLU - SCHOOLS CLOSED! The whole thing is insane and seems to be getting worse. I think I'll just take my chances (well sort of) ... I went online when I got home and bought the WellnessLight Kids, wore a mask on the airplane and bought the Bangkok Post newspaper to read on the plane. What the heck! :)

This thing seems to be getting worse by the day. We're a mutation away from total global heck, which will of course send the economy over the edge.

The flu is not supposed to survive in the temperatures and conditions of summer. If we are still having large outbreaks, then they better come up with enough effective swin flu vaccine to vaccinate every person eligible to receive it for the fall, along with the usual flu shot.

I read where England is planning to see that they have enough to vaccinate their entire population...but wait, they can do that because they have universal health care.

You have a better chance at surviving swine flu than surviving British health care.
