I'm a frequent critic, but Bloomberg's right on this one.

NYC provides all manner of civic services to diplomats. They and their countries should PAY UP!

Or.... cancel FDNY and NYPD coverage. Make a list of addresses, etc.

And kick their kids out of the schools.

I thought that this might be the appropriate place to put for people the 13 rules for proper research into public figures who may or may not have questionable backgrounds.

1. Don't trust anything you read, including established newspapers and television.
2. Double check everything.
3. Establish the people whom you trust the most from whom you get your information.
4. You will find that there are a few individuals who are more reliable than others and more incorruptible.
5. Do not suffer hypocrites, for this is a very bad sign for getting accurate information.
6. Coincidence is worthy of further investigation
7. Learn about the history of the person you are investigating.
8. Do searches for articles regarding different criminal subjects regarding the people they surround themselves with.
9. Check dates, times, locations, expertise, ability, motive. Crossreference everything.
10. Understand spin when used with such books as The Art of War and classic p-ganda, advertising techniques.
11. Ferocious at tacks means you are close to something.
12. Beware of collusion between the parties leading you in wrong directions, and understand that there are major powers that prefer to operate in secret.
13. Quotes and video are the best.

I wrote the above after I wrote the below in response to someone who thought there was some funny business at his or her business.

Do a statistical likelihood that someone should lose their life in some kind of specific way. You can find this from an actuary or doing searches on the internet for these statistics. If the chance of one occurrence is low and the chance of another occurrence is low, then the chance that they happen together becomes even lawyer. Multiply the percentages. Statistics should not be excluded in mounting evidence against people. One must ask himself the chance that so many things can go down at once, especially when the scene is impregnated with motive. Nurses have been put in jail with only statistical evidence.

Did anybody read the article? As Secty of State her responsibility is to maintain good diplomatic relations with other countries. It is not her focus to consider the interest of New Yorkers greater than the interest of the country. As Senator it was her job to consider New Yorkers and the USA together.

Other countries were going to tax US property oversees as retaliation. It maks sense that the US government change policy based on what other countries are doing. The US taxpayers may need to make a contribution to the NY and other cities to help cover the lost revenue. This is not about HRC at all. It is about international relations.

I DID read it.
I respectfully disagree with your take on it.

This law is 130 years and we have never had a problem with it. This is another scam that will negatively affect New Yorkers. This is bad precedent.

HRC has always been a backstabber. This was particularly true when she was Senator of NYC (my city). But all that said I think (so far) she's been doing a decent job as Secretary of State and I can now understand why President Obama picker her for the job. But her complaining about the vetting process was the height of idiocy considering its people like she and her husband's fault that Obama has to be so careful about the people he picks for jobs in the White House since so many of them are bought and paid for by lobbyists and foreign interest groups.

Read the whole thing. Someone provided evidence that he has made her position purely ceremonial.

She's a Clinton, stabbing their base in the back is what they do. Mr. Change, unfortunately, is following in their footsteps.

Bloomberg stabbed New York City in the back by defying term limits and trying to find a way to become perpetual mayor.

Amen.
Not even Rudy after 9/11 thought he was indispensible.
And we thought HE had a big ego.

And he has stabbed NYC voters in the back by overturning the term limits law that NYC votes approved twice.

Funny ...... Two of the most self absorbed megalomaniacs in the country and one trying to criticize the other.

Yet NY money loves them both and continues to support them no matter how clueless they both show themselves to be.

They both make me sick .... Both only in power because of money, neither offers solutions people actually need.

Isn't Bloomberg worth about $10 billion. All he has to do is write a check and get it back as a right off.

I have been following Clinton’s political career for years and came to my own conclusions – don’t need Bloomberg to influence my opinion of her which has always been low. As for my life thank you for your concern but I am doing just fine without it. Have a great day!

I'm still trying to figure out if Hillary is a democrat or a republican. In last years election she ran like a republican. Was that the real Hillary Clinton? She certainly seemed very comfortable in that position. I don't trust any republicans and very few democrats.

Chris Matthews found it funny last year that Obama gave Susan Rice the position of United States Ambassador to the United Nations and she doesn't have to go through Clinton to speak to the President.

I guess that means the President has some one watching his back, which makes me happy.
