ROTFLMAO
after all these years Bloomberg has just realized what a political opportunist that Hillary is, actually both Clintons really are consumed with political avarice and will do whatever it takes politically to remain relevant
Yes.
While I don't disagree that Hillary is an opportunist, this is about the least politically motivated move she's ever made.
how so? She is trying to make nice with international cronies. That is politics too. Does Hillary have a NYC apartment that is suddeningly tax free?
And of course, Bloomberg isn't a political opportunist at all! I'm always amazed at the people who are just shocked that people such as Hillary, Obama, John McCain and so many others who have gone so far up the political ladder really are politicians after all.
The Clintons have sold their political influence to become mega millionaires. They are in a different league of greedy, political opportunists.
Here's what cracks me up about Republicans:
They attack Zelaya for wanting another term in Honduras, but when Bloomberg ignores term limits legislation to get another term as NYC mayor, they sit on their hands in silence.
How convenient.
And Obama is well in the lead as being the number 1 flip-flopper of them all!
I don't think bloomberg is a republican anymore but is an independant now.
He petitioned to return to the state party and they rejected his request.
Man, I really hate to stick up for the Bloom..... but
No other country or city has the United Nations
as a tenant. Too many "tax free" folks that depend
on city services.
Bloomber - like Putin - can't stop being the dictator. Both forced a change in policy/rules so they could keep in charge.
Bloomber doesn't even know what he is - democrat, republican, independant - next?
This sounds exactly like the whining from Chicago when Barack Obama explained that he was not going to use the White House to favor Illinois over the other 49. Bloomberg is throwing rocks at HC to distract from his own attempted third-term power grab.
King Michael the First, will just do what he's been doing for the past several months now to raise more revenue for NYC... He will have his police department issue more tickets to the city's auto and truck drivers...
But, wait, Bloomie...
I really thought that you (a fake Repuglican) and Ms. Clinton (a fake Demoncrat) could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship
Those tacky plastic lawn chairs in Time Square are NY's "stab" in the heart.
I second that emotion. The only good Hillary is a VERY DISTANT, REMOTE Hillary. A couple of hundreds of light years would be a very good start.
And, Hillary, please - by all means - take the philandering philanthropist with you.
Oh, sure. This from the Mayor who just colluded with the City Council to rewrite the rules so he can buy a third term.
Yeah sure but how much revenue NY-ers have lost for Bloomberg's 3rd -term ?Anyway,so this policy has been in effect for 130 yrs & now suddenly it's being changed.Wo
Clinton no longer represents New York. She works for the entire nation now, and must do what is in the best interest of the US as a whole. Bloomberg sounds like a spoiled child here. New York will survive just fine.
it's in the best interest for the country for foreign diplomats to pay their fair share of property taxes all $250+ million in taxes, which means less of a burden on American/New York taxpaying citizens
Clinton, like Bloomberg, is a politican. She will do whatever she feels is in her interest. As Obama's approval ratings continue to fall, we may be seeing her leave the Obama administration in a several months to again, move on with her career.
You just had to find a childish way of dragging Obama negatively into this - didn't you...now that's real desparate.
It's all they know how to do.
No, if you think, why would she stay with a president in decline? She still have hopes of her own. The Sec of State is a good resume enhancer. Don't always be negative, try to think a bit.
