Iranian authorities have announced they will publicly hang 14 Sunni rebels on Tuesday, reports iaafrica.com.
The Sunni rebels will be hanged in a public park in Zahedan, the capital of the province which borders both Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Al Arabiya quotes the Fars news agency as saying that the brother of the Jundallah rebel group leader is among those to be hanged.
Iranian officials say Jundalla is part of the Sunni Islamist al-Qaeda network and backed by the U.S., according to Al Arabiya.
Xinhua reports that the group has been repeatedly blamed for bombings and kidnappings in the province.
