Journalists Of Color Demand Fox News Apologize For Brian Kilmeade Comments

UNITY: Journalists of Color, Inc., a "multicultural coalition of national journalism organizations with an outreach to over 10,000 supporters," has issued a petition calling on Fox News and its parent company, News Corp. to take steps to remedy recent offending remarks made by "Fox and Friends" co-host Brian Kilmeade on the show's July 8 episode.

The remarks in question came during a discussion of a recent survey that found that married people in Sweden and Finland are less susceptible to the symptoms of Alzheimer's than unmarried people. Kilmeade disregarded the relevancy of the survey for Americans, saying "we [Americans] keep marrying other species and other ethnicities . . . Swedes have pure genes . . . in America we marry everybody..."

UNITY called Kilmeade's statement "beyond silly and worthy of ridicule", based on "the basest of white supremacist ideologies, the notion that white people and non-white people are of different species, with the white race as 'pure.'"

UNITY has called upon Fox News to "issue an immediate apology for Mr. Kilmeade's offensive comments" and "enter into a serious discussion on the program regarding intermarriage and the value of diversity in our society."

I so despise that phony phrase "People of Color" it is so meaningless and vapid, but the people that use that word are too.
Guess what, not only are whites not really colored white, white is the presence of all colors.
"People of Color" means two minorites who want to extract as much as they can out of the rest of us based on racial politics.

Diversity is done. Even liberal Harvard University--Harvard University!--thinks the nonsense is over. Harvard political scientist Robert Putnam finds that the greater the community diversity, the lower the civic health. This is based on a massive new study of 30,000 people throughout America. Also, a new study indicates that diversity training is ineffective. I mean, really, have you ever sat through one of these white male bashing seminars? It is time that our politically correct country wise up. Yes, treat all people as you would like to be treated, but forced diversity is nonsense. Fox News and Brian Kilmeade have nothing to apologize for. God created a race for each country of the world for a reason; if citizens of any country--Sweden, Uganda, wherever--desire to intermingle with people of their own race--that is their business. Get over it!

The more an organization of color demands an apology, the more Fox and conservative play the angle of reverse discrimination and try to marginalize what the organization tries to do as hyper-sensitive minorities. If there is going to be a swift and sincere apology , it will need to be lead by a large non-ethnocentric organization that normally wouldn't be involved in a controversy about racial insults and rights.

"Pure"? Jeez, when are conservatives going to get that racism and ethnic comparisons like this are best left in the 20th century? And they wonder why young people and ethnic groups won't vote Republican? Because regardless of the fact that it is "ridiculous and silly" Fox News Channel is a "News Network" where people expect to hear News and Information, if clown face Kilmeade want's to do a silly show he should start doing stand-up or go to Comedy Central.

He actually has it backward. "Pure" races are closer to actual inbreeding, which brings out recessive genes conferring such traits as deafness, blindness, and mental retardation. The genetically healthiest offspring come from genetically diverse parents, such as myself: Eastern European Jew crossed with WASP, or my niece and nephew, Jew/WASP crossed with Filipino. Such offspring have "hybrid vigor": due to genetic diversity they have less recessives and more advantageous traits. The other extreme is cultures (there are some well known historically but I will not name them to avoid offense) who are known for their history of consanguinity (mating with a first or second degree blood relative) and their resultant offspring who populate long-term care facilities as they are so disabled they cannot even care for themselves.
