Louisville, CO: The Best Place To Live
from Money Magazine:
Yes, strong local economies still exist. These small towns have 'em - plus great schools, affordable homes, low crime, and much more.

Louisville would be a good place to live if you like the polluted smear, cookie cutter sprawl, mind-less yuppie-ville that the front range of Colorado has become over the last 20 years. Louisville is part of this. How boring can you be?
Well wouldn't you just know? White(therefore low crime), Rethugs(therefore easily led), church going(easily controled and brain washed), bible thumping( would love to see the catalog of the library) and finally, none on Medicare( nothing even smacking of socialism.)...... Nah! I'll just stay with the masses and be comfortable in the knowledge I didn't have to lock myself away for safety. We'll just face each and every day that comes and know how to be human and fight for our rights and all our freedom. Way too Orwellian to suit me.
So what did we expect from Money Mag but isolated, sterile, Republican communities?
Give me Louisville, KY anytime.
Of all the top 10 towns listed in Money Magazine, of all the photos that accompany them, not one person of color is depicted. Yeah, these small towns are "nice" with good schools and low unemployment but its the veneer of glossy thin skin. Scratch the surface to discover that these hometowns' values exclude people of color.
All white, republican, and gated.
