Madoff Moved To Fed Prison In North Carolina: CNBC

Convicted swindler Bernie Madoff is on his way to federal prison in Butner, NC, where he is sentenced to spend the next 150 years, CNBC has learned.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons Web site, the Butner facility houses a total of about 3,400 inmates.

Mr. Madoff seems to be taking his new-found role of "scapegoat" with aplomb.

Given that he swindled only so-many millions of dollars, against unrepentant banks (e.g. Goldman Sachs) who have quite-literally stolen TRILLIONS ... he seems quite the gentleman, by his silence.

The one thing that irritated me the most when he was on house arrest, whenever they showed film of him going to and from court, Bernie always had that condescending smirk on his face, that made you want to sl@p it off. It may seem like a small thing, but the smirk is gone now.
