Marshall Clement "Mark" Sanford, Jr. (born May 28, 1960) is the Governor of South Carolina, a passionate lover of Argentinean women, and a dick.

Sanford was a leading candidate for the Republican Presidential nomination until an extra-marital affair in Argentina brought national attention to his dickishness (pun very much intended).

In addition to being a disgraced politician, Sanford is also a real estate developer and Air Force Reserve captain, which allows him to screw people out of money while wearing a bomber jacket and most likely calling them "Iceman."

I found the one redeeming grace of this julep was that he wrote intentionally "poetic" prose to his paramour.

Regarding photo of Sanford crying and rubbing his eyes with his bare hands: GENTLEMEN used to carry handkerchiefs for such occasions, but of course his behavior has not been consistent with gentlemanly behavior.

Also, he reminds me of a particularly irritating ex-boyfriend in that particular photo, whining and crying BECAUSE HE GOT CAUGHT, BECAUSE HE'S A SELFISH SUCKER, BECAUSE HE'S FULL OF SELF PITY... worthless waste of taxpayer money.

If Sanford is indeed an Air Force Reserve Captain, then his adultery is strictly a violation of military code of conduct and he should be brought up on charges. Active duty military are severely disciplined for adultery, guess either the Air Force Reserve and certainly Sanford have a different set of 'Code's of Conduct'.

Hey, Dicki guys, you missed the part where Gov. Sanford refused stimulus money earlier this year. Something like $700 mil, to pay teachers and so on. We were actually looking at closing schools here in SC, because the Gov. wanted to be responsible.

There's some funny stuff on your dickipedia site - good mean fun :-P I remember some quote of David Bowie's, where I can only paraphrase that he states some thing like: 'gossip is how society keeps itself in line'. Wish I could find his exact, rather succinct wording.
