A majority of Americans believe that Sarah Palin is resigning as governor of Alaska not because it's in the best interest of her state but because it will benefit her political career, a new CBS News poll finds.

Palin is a real "star," -- she rocks!! Imagine the mother of 5 children 4 still at home one a child with special needs and the grandmother of a child with special needs all that an Palin is going to have the time to run around the country campaigning for Dems, Independents, and Republicans -- all for the good of all American children not just her own children and grandchildren -- how magnanimous!!

Most people move off the tracks when they see a train coming. To say with little exception that that the media went overboard drawing and quartering Palin is an understatement. Especially unfair were hissy fits from media personalities and others that never could only dream of making the transition from media to politics themselves. The jealousy and sophomoric behavior seems to come straight from the girls locker room, reliving past issues and resentments in open public. I do not agree with many of her politics and would never vote for any politician from an oil state. But anyone defending those shrews for their behavior be not proud and may need professional help.
