Channing Tatum Shirtless in GQ (PHOTOS)

Channing Tatum graces the cover of the August issue of GQ and inside he removes his shirt to reveal an action hero body. His new movie, 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,' opens in theaters August 7.

The 29-year-old newlywed (he married 'Step Up' costar Jenna Dewan on Saturday) talked with the mag in his hometown of Montgomery, Alabama.

On his photoshoot diet:
"I have a special meal plan that I'm on. It's pretty much just chicken and broccoli and brown rice. Four times a day. And egg whites."

On his star turn from Abercrombie model to Hollywood:
"I got crazy lucky. Like, sometimes I think I won the lottery or something. At times it feels like the bottom's gonna fall out. Just 'cause I don't really know how I got here. But I just keep moving forward, and it just keeps getting better and better."

On his poorly-reviewed upcoming 'G.I. Joe' movie:
"This is, like, my first step out into the whole commercial realm. I hope it does okay."
