Jonah Hill's Twitter Nightmare (VIDEO)

Jonah Hill was on Letterman Monday night - and if you're one of the thousands following what you think is Hill on Twitter, you've been duped.

"I have never been on the website Twitter nor will I ever be on the website Twitter," Jonah told Dave.

The account is a fake, and the impostor has even started a feud with the director of "Iron Man."

"Apparently this kid has been talking trash to Jon Favreau," Hill said, adding that he had wanted to work with the director someday. Hill even placed a real-life call to Favreau to apologize for the fake Hill's words.

Man, lots of hostility to Jonah Hill in these comments! I really think that nastiness is uncalled for, and I think it is because when people look at Jonah Hill, they think, "If he can be a rich and famous actor, why can't I?" which is something they don't think when looking at Johnny Depp or Angelina Jolie. Hill (whose accomplishments have been mocked by some other posters) is a rising star despite others harboring animosity against him, and while he is thus far known most as being the co-lead in "Superbad," he has also been in several Judd Apatow movies (from "The 40 Year Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up" to the upcoming Funny People) and also voiced one of the characters in the successful "Horton Hears a Who."
He and Seth Rogen (though Rogen is rightfully more famous) represent the new everyman comedian, and I don't know why anyone would wish either of them ill unless they had a good reason. Merely avoiding Twitter (I am with him 100% on that, though I will leave out my reasons why I hate Twitter and won't ever use it) is no reason to mock anyone, even if one doesn't like that person's movies. What has Jonah Hill done that's so bad?

He is very funny. I've seen Superbad and Knocked Up. They are not my kind of movie (out of my age range, I think), but I did enjoy him in them. I am as crtical as anyone about actors or celebrities I don't like, but this guy does have talent. What I am getting tried of are the cruel comments about overweight. If people see obesity as a disease, ridicule is definitely not the cure.

um, he was in Superbad, the 40 year old Virgin, Knocked Up, Evan Almighty, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, just to name a few. if you don't know of him chances are you're just not into comedy.

like you said, those were just a few. he was also in I Heart Huckabees, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Horton Hears a Who, Grandma's Boy, Evan Almighty, he's been a number of times on Reno 911, most recently on A Night at the Musuem 2.
