Nutritionist Cherilyn Lee, who worked with Michael Jackson, is shown during an interview in Inglewood, Calif., in this June 29, 2009 file photo. Lee, a registered nurse, told the AP she repeatedly rejected his demands for Diprivan. But a frantic phone call she received from Jackson four days before his death made her fear that he somehow obtained Diprivan or another drug to induce sleep. (AP Photo/Jae C. Hong, File)

LOS ANGELES — A nurse-nutritionist who worked with Michael Jackson says she was interviewed by Los Angeles homicide detectives who told her that needle marks were found on the pop singer's body.

Cherilyn Lee said Tuesday that she told the detectives that she didn't see any so-called "track marks" on Jackson's arms when she provided vitamins and other supplements earlier this year.

Lee also was asked by the detectives Friday if she saw bruising on Jackson. Lee said she didn't but told police that Jackson's veins made placing an IV needle difficult, which could result in bruising.

Lee has said that Jackson asked her for a powerful anesthetic to alleviate his insomnia. She said she refused to help him get access to the drug, which was found in his home.

His skin problems and surficial pain, suggest he suffered from HIV - is it okay to say that?
His courage in the face of this, is this not a sensible story? Isn't it better than confusion, and people painting this various ways, and for what - to create a mystery?

Track marks? Is the Palin family involved in this? ;-)

This woman is quite the Chatty Cathy. She needs to keep her info to herself. I wouldn't want her as my nurse.

If she has something to say, it should be to the appropriate law enforcement personnel only, not the mass media.

Where did this woman come from? Who is she? This doesn't make any sense.

If Michael was addicted to Dirprovan why would he ask a woman that he's known for less than a month to get it for him? Especially if he had aceess to several doctors that would do it.

This is a bunch of bullcrap. I would like to know who this lady is really working for.

Having watched that weird press conference when he announced his This Is It tour, I imagine all he's done in these recent years is sit around doing drugs for the most part. I wasn't a fan of Jackson's (4 years older than him) but, again, sad end to a talented man.

WHY ARE THEY TREATING MICHAEL LIKE THIS? HE IS GONE!

Did they treat KEITH LEDGER LIKE THIS? NO! HIS DRUG PUSHER WAS ASHLEY KATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone was so sad and spoke so highly of him! He had a sleeping problelm too and overdose on multiple pills! Fair is fair.

What about Elvis his slept with a 13 year old (Facts) and married her at 16 (under age). Michael was alleged and cleared! Plus Elvis had a known and confirmed drug and alcohol problem he died of a over dose.

I can't come to any other conclusion than is because of his race. Ya'll want to crucifiy him and damage his legacy!!! The media can't stand that he was the best and African American at that!

Time for someone to call it for what it is!!!!!!

Thank you for that!

Mainstream media is steady trying to sully his legacy but the truth remains Michael Jackson broke racial barriers and album sales records, first and probably last global superstar, and was an unmatched celebrity humanitarian. We just have to speak the truth when we have the opportunity and not let the mainstream naysayers try to undermine his achievements.

Now that Jackson's goons have joined the unemployment lines, we'll be subjected to endless news stories about his final days. Who cares except the morbidly curious?

The talents of MJ and the good he did is what should be remembered. However, the endless fascination with this case is reaching ghoulish proportions.

Yes, I've seen it. It's horrible to hear what they did.

But Michael's response as amazing. He really maintained his dignity. I found inspiration in that.

Man, that is so utterly sad. The indignity that poor guy endured, and the dignity with which he fought back... its so heartbreaking. He must be in a better place.

Do you actually believe him? I think he was just trying to get sympathy. He said he couldn't move his arm but then he was seen waving to his fans. Also, what's with that childlike voice he uses in interviews? I never believed that was his real voice.

I agree. Cops will attempt to lead in the direction they wish the investigation to go.They will play their hunches and many times badger family, friends, witnesses or informants into saying what they want to hear NOT what really happened. A bit overzealous for sure. Hopefully the truth is all we hear rather than some cops imagination gone wild and then corroborated by folks who stand to gain something.

At this point I don't care...Michael is dead and nothing will bring him back. I prefer he be vindicated in death rather than a continuation of the persecution he endured over the last few decades. He acted weird no doubt BUT I honestly don't think folks wanted a brother to succeed as unbelievably well as Michael did. IMHO.

I'm waiting for the young man who Michael settled with in the 90's to come forward with the truth. As long as returning the money isn't in the way I believe they will come forward...for a price.

If the question "Did you see track marks or bruising?" is a trick, those guys have no imagination. Sounds like a legitimate inquiry to a professional's observation about MJ's routine physical health. How she came about knowing the difficulty with placing IV's into MJ's veins is more interesting.

She's described as both a nurse and a nutritionist throughout the article. The latest rage with celebs is to administer B-vitamins intravenously. So I can see how she would know about MJ's veins.

> Lee has said that Jackson asked her for a powerful anesthetic to alleviate his insomnia. She said she refused to help him get access to the drug, which was found in his home.

This snip doesn't make much sense, and is almost accusatory. Neither a "nutritionist" nor a "nurse" is a doctor. Therefore she would not have the ability to prescribe an anesthetic. The best she could do is refer him to someone else.

don't get me wrong, i love this blog and rely on it daily (along with others) for my news & information, so it is with great respect that i say to whoever writes the headlines: what the hell?

jackson was taking propofol, a general anesthetic. you don't take that orally, you don't shove it up your ass ... you put it in your veins. so, track marks? really? what a shock ... who'da thunk?

i don't know. Neither does Michael. Seriously though, Google or YouTube "Michael Jackson vitiligo." What you will see is Mike in various stages of vitiligo. What you will learn is that after years of fighting vitiligo, and trying to cover it up, many people like Mike with the disease elect for a procedure called Depigmintation. Depigmin gets rid of all the remaining color of the skin so the skin all matches. And that's what Mike did.

Peace, Mike.

I think everyone envolved with Michael Jackson Saw Him as a 9 year old with access to millions of dollars. I think He was manipulated by mostly Everyone He came in contact with and visa versa. They were using Him for His money and He was using them for Their services whatever they might have been. Michael Jackson was destined to end up this way.

He truly was under other peoples' control from the day he was born. He never had a life of his own. Exploitation is writ large across the panorama of Michael Jackson's "life."
