Lucky Londoners!
Actress Anna Friel, she of the sadly canceled "Pushing Daisies" and June's big screen "Land of the Lost" graces the cover of a jewelry supplement bundled in with the August issue of the UK's Vanity Fair.
Friel is married and has one young daughter.

Anna Friel is a a very attractive woman. She gets by in acting, the lead guy and the blonde in 'Pushing Daisies' were better. She used to be in a soap in Britain called 'Brookside' back in the 90's. For all the Brits trying to convince Americans that your actors are better, forget it, Hollywood hires actors from Britain and Australia because of the language and because they are cheaper. They can also sell these shows on to your countries based on the inclusion of one of your own.
I remember watching The Wire and thinking how great the show is, but something about two of the characters didn't ring true, they didn't have the American edge. Turns out they were British which kind of spoiled it for me. It left me feeling cheated. A perfect example of casting in my opinion is The Sopranos.
I feel the same way when I hear some Brit music band trying to sound Mississippi Delta. They've tried it for some fifty years.
Well thats probably because it's very difficult for Brits to pull of an American accent if "something about two of the characters didn't ring true" and you didn't spot it immediately, seems to me they were doing a very good job.

And Tim Roth doesn't hide his accent, so does he count? I agree, Brits are better trained, most American's have to know someone to make it.
Won't somebody think of the children? If they find out that people have nipples all is lost. Nipples are private for 50% of the population.

Sad ... I remember when actresses actually studied, honed, and perfected their craft and did everything they could to avoid the obvious objectification and desperation in taking your clothes off. Oh well ... It worked for ... whats her name again???

Er I used to have a poster of her completely starkers that was given away in one of Sky Magazine's "naked" issues and that was about 12 years ago. There's nothing inherently wrong with being naked, nor is it desperate to do so.

British actors tend to have much better training than American actors. They have to jump through tougher hoops and most of them have classical drama training. Besides, 6 out of a vast multitude of characters in all those shows is a pretty tiny subset.
