Of course the ratings were high. We all tuned in to see the President. The game was kinda secondary.

That's why I tuned in, to see the Prez. As a (former) Pittsburgh Pirates fan, I've lost intrest in baseball the last few years.

Besides, going to the games lost all its fun when Pete Rose retired, and was no longer available to be booed at Three Rivers Stadium when the Reds came in to play the Pirates.
